“A busy Inn in the heart of Whitby. Pub downstairs where live music is played until 23:00 and nice newly renowated rooms upstairs. Not possible to have breakfast in the morning due to the pub not being open. Once the pub is closed there's no place to be except for your room, no lounge or so but a nice place to stay at.”

“Stayed as a solo traveller for one night for a quick visit to Whitby. Staff were very friendly on the phone when I called to firm up arrangements, and same when greeting me when I arrived. Good amount of private parking available. I arrived at 11:30am before chicken in (3pm) but no issues using the car park while I explored the town. When I did check in, I found the room clean and comfortable. The decor may be a little dated but it was perfect for my needs. Bathroom looked fairly new and...

“Wow, what an amazing place to stay in Whitby. Foxton Penthouse was central for us to have coastal walks and to walk into town. The apartment was very modern and had everything we needed to make our stay go well. Once in town you can cross the bridge and walk up the 199 steps to the Abbey. Or get the hop on hop off bus. The costumes of people dressed up in Gothic clothes added to our stay. ”
