“We chose this location because of its proximity to Pocono Raceway. The communication with the host was excellent and the check in process was flawless. The house was neat and clean with the basic essentials provided. The home does not have central air but does have very capable floor units in both bedrooms. This was my very first stay using the VRBO platform and I hope all of my future experiences will be as good as this one. I would highly recommend this host and property. ”

“The place was very nice. All the amenities were as listed. The host was very responsive through the whole process. Gave recommendations prior to the visit which was very helpful. We had a great time there. There was neighboring properties but still felt somewhat secluded. This could have been due to the weekend we visited and the weather. Overall it was a great time. “Overall a good stay. Enjoyed the deck, hot tub, and game room. House could have been a bit cleaner upon arrival - primarily the outdoor deck space that was covered in leaves and dirt. The kitchen is lacking some cookware and the pots and pans could use replacing. Living room setup is awkward and not very conducive to spending time with your group. “Don't let the words "cabin" fool you. This is a clean house with 3 bedrooms, bath, washer and dryer and great kitchen space! I have to say that I admired the artwork ( hope the owner did them). They even had a great selection of books to choose from.”

“We had a great stay at the Chalet. It was exactly as advertised. We enjoyed the wood burning fireplace and hot tub. The kitchen was well equipped and the furnishings were very inviting. The Chalet is a quick 10-15 minute drive from all the dining and shopping in Jim Thorpe. We went back and forth a few times and it was super easy. Would definitely recommend staying here! We'll be back in the warmer (less icey) weather to do some hiking and more exploring! ”
