“This property is great if you are looking for an Inn right on the river to lull you to sleep. Where bald eagles and osprey fly by while you are eating a delicious homemade breakfast. Swim in the river or just sit and cool your feet. The pierce bridge is a local icon that is within walking distance. The beds are comfy. The people are welcoming. It’s just a really nice place that I will be back to.”

“Snow Cap Inn was perfect!! My husband and I stayed here for one night in March for a last minute ski trip to Sunday River. The rooms were clean and cute. Loved the hot chocolate station and the warm choc chip cookies! Staff was so friendly and nice, will definitely be back! ”

“Lovely place in the heart of the mountains. Great staff and a superb arcade too! Loved it! ”

“Pricey but not overpriced. Historic but not geriatric. Beautiful, well-kept property that makes for a pleasant getaway. I suspect there was some short staffing issues, but nothing that upset our trip. Our expert bartender knew how to mix a very nice Hugo Spritz, most likely an unusual order in that area. It was greatly appreciated.”

“Imagine staying at your grandparents up north cottage. Or going back in time to enjoy a nice motorlodge. If either is your jam, you will love this place. It feels historic and is a very fun experience. No frills, typical motel, comfortable and clean. And very reasonably priced.”
