Cozy family home

Two story home nestled in a quiet neighborhood. Walking distance from the metro north and short drive from white plains city center. Four bed rooms, 3 bathrooms.Parks close by. Down town white plains 5 minute drive away.A kids playground in the backyard and a beautiful outdoor set up in the summer. No parties. No smoking in the house. Video monitoring on all outdoor areas. There is a two night minimum required to book. We look forward to hosting you.

Thanksgiving family gathering

The communication with our host was prompt and helpful. The property is remarkably spacious. An accurate description of the property is: 4 upstairs bedrooms (3 rooms for adults, each sleep 2 for 6 adults in beds; 1 room for a pair of kids in bunk beds) and 2 downstairs couch/futons options. 2 full bathrooms upstairs. 1 bathroom with shower downstairs. This detail description may help organize guest sleeping options. It was perfect for us. Well appointed kitchen. Coffee pot is Keurig and not drip pot. Huge fridge, plus microwave, plus toaster oven. We made a Thanksgiving feast with no trouble. Large dining room with 6 chair table was great for family night games. Additional kitchen island with 4 chairs. Separate TV room with couches and table. One on-wall large Smart TV. The TV has few embedded streaming options and no cable modem. We were prepared by traveling with Roku. Suggest if guests watch TV they bring their own Apple TV box or Roku. System has HDMI port and house WiFi with good service and bandwidth. Backyard is big with a swingset. We brought soccer ball and pop-up goal. Big enough for 3 v 3 soccer match. Very close to White Plains North and White Plains train stations for easy train on Metro North RR to Grand Central Station for subway everywhere. House is in a nice quiet neighbor in a dead-end cul de sac with no cross traffic and ample driveway parking. We could have used face towels in bathrooms, but just used the big towels. Overall, very high marks.

Great stay for our family

We found this house for its close proximity to family we were visiting in the area. The house is spacious and well stocked for families with children. My daughters loved the bunk beds (especially that one bed had ballerina sheets and the other had Elsa sheets). They had toys for the girls as well as access to streaming platforms so they could watch age appropriate shows. The play structure in the back yard was also great. On top of that, it’s walking distance to a fabulous park/playground. The host was very communicative and answered all my questions I bombarded her with (most unrelated to the house). We felt very at home here. The only thing we felt like we were missing were hand towels and wash cloths for the bathrooms.

Family stay

We were a group of extended family in the area for a family reunion and this was the perfect place for us to stay. Kids loved the bunk beds, toys, and outside space. Adults loved how spacious it was. Hosts were responsive and kind.

Christmas with Family

We came from out of town to spend Christmas wit extended family from the city. There was a problem with the code getting into the propery, but after contacting the owner, she was able to fix it remotely in less than 5 minutes. Infact, every time we had a question or concern the owner replied right away. She even gave us a back up number for support in case we were not able to get in contact with her. We never needed it. as her replies were always prompt.

Perfect house for our family

We enjoyed staying at the house which was just right for our family group attending a wedding in the area. There were some issues with our reservation - the owner needed to shorten our reservation by one day and was unable to accommodate an early check in - though she did allow us a little extra time at check out.

Great Stay!

We had a great stay! House was clean and comfortable. Great deck and outdoor space. Our host, Irene, was helpful, friendly and responsive! House is in a great location, near local attractions and close to Metro train line for easy access to NYC. We really enjoyed it and would recommend it to friends and family!

Nice home

We enjoyed our stay in this nice home with 4 bedrooms, about 45 minutes from Manhattan and close to Scarsdale where we have other family. Huge master bedroom and bunk beds and books for kids.

Girls Getaway

We did a surprise getaway for one of our friends getting married. It was a blast! The owner messaged me all the information on how to access the property and WiFi information. She was also very accommodating and allowed an early check in. The house was clean everything was easily accessible! Unfortunately we weren’t able to use the backyard due to rain but it looked beautiful!
