“This is a cozy property in a very rural setting. The host is extremely responsive and very thorough. It is quiet and private. The furniture and bed are very comfortable. The wood burning stove is a pellet stove which provides enough heat to take the edge off. The hot tub could comfortably fit 4 people. The Village of Cold Spring is less than 10 minutes away, as is the Interstate 84 bridge across the Hudson. If you want to make your own food, bring it. There is no grocery store nearby.”

“We booked this property for (1) night, 5 days before we were going to New York. We live in Maryland. Instant booking, no issues. I didn’t hear from the host at all. “We booked our stay here two days before checking in. On the day of we had not heard from the host. After multiple attempts to contact them, via app and phone call, it wasn’t until 45 minutes after we were supposed to check in that our reservation was cancelled due to having been double booked on another platform. Very disappointing as it left us scrambling to find somewhere else to stay. The area was nice and walkable, but a disappointing turn of events.”
