“What a find! This beautiful hall is just perfect. Fabulous location with peacocks and lovely trails to walk in the extensive grounds. Our room had a super king bed and usual facilities. There is a spacious dining room and well stocked bar. You won't go away hungry as the food is excellent with generous portions. Very friendly and helpful staff. It's a must visit! ”

“A lovely guesthouse with a lovely owner. It’s walking distance to everything in Keswick. Lots of information on walks etc provided. A fantastic cooked breakfast is included in the price. The only negative for me is the radiator in my room wasn’t as hot as my friend's room downstairs and I really feel the cold. Otherwise perfect.”

“I was three days at Goodwin House and met the friendliest couple Chris and Liz. They had a lot of suggestions where to hike and was so nice! The home made breakfast with fresh fruit and berries, granola, juice and a warm English breakfast (or alternatives). I definitely recommend Goodwin House!”

“View was lovely the room was very clean everything we needed i had my 9 month old son with me the hotel provided a cot too very welcoming. We were there for a family funeral we had use of iron and board too also swimming pool. Nice peaceful area will be staying again . ”
