Had dinner at the restaurant which unfortunately the service wasnât great really slow & forgot one of our parties meal & drinks order (I would understand if it was super busy but it wasnât) but they were friendly in general couldnât fault that. The hotel was lovely giving really cosy vibes & the receptionist was lovely. Would recommend & the surrounding area is really nice for walks. â

All staff were so warm, welcoming and helpful- I was greeted upon arrival with a welcome drink and my bags were taken up to my room whilst I checked in and relaxed in the Great Hall.
Every nook and cranny of this hotel is gorgeous, beautifully crafted and fabulously furnished, including the room I was allocated. It was a generous size bedroom and dressing area with a huge bathroom, stunning views and light and airy in the daytime but warm...
âWe have stayed at Slaley Hall a few times and always enjoyed our time there, it is our 'go to' place for a mini break. The Spa is very relaxing and the treatments/therapists are excellent. The staff on reception, the dining room and bars are all friendly, welcoming and willing to help. Big shout out to Marcus on reception who kindly offered to help get our bags from the car as my husband has mobility problems. Thank You , we will be back :) â

Room above the hotel which was clean and had everything required.
Food/drink in the bar well priced and tasty and busy place it was too.
Service excellent from all staff-no issues at all although busy little town so finding a parking place was the tricky part!!â

âA change of plans took me to Hexham and the Beaumont hotel for what was to be a very pleasant experience. Arrived two hours early and was only looking to store my bagage as I fully expected to be asked to wait until regular check-in was open. Instead the hotel went the extra mile and had my room ready in a bit more than half an hour. And the Abbey and the pleasant park just across the road it was very easy to spend those 30 minutes in relaxing way.

âFint gammalt vĂ€rdshus med trevlig personal och trevlig stĂ€mning. Verkligt lugnt lĂ€ge i liten by pĂ„ landet, men Ă€ndĂ„ bara 15 minuter frĂ„n motorvĂ€gen. Inom en timma Ă€r man inne i nationalparkerna Lake District eller Yorkshire Dales. ĂndĂ„ negativa Ă€r att hotellets restaurang Ă€r stĂ€ngd pĂ„ mĂ„ndagar samt att sĂ€ngen var i minsta laget.â

The bed was very comfortable and the room was decorated to a high standard. I appreciated the fridge with cold bottles of water and fresh milk. "As part of a trip through the area we book this extremely valuable place. Beautifully decorated, nice and cosy bar area and cosy rooms which however were extremely cold and heating did not work.
Breakfast was all heated when plate served and not as good at al as can be expected at a hotel of this standard."
