Fantastiskt trevlig mindre bungalowresort. Vill man ha fina omgivningar, lugn och ro och trevligt bemötande så är det perfekt. Resorten uppmuntrar att man lagar sin egen mat men har även en mindre restaurang med helt ok mat. Notera, inget partyställe.

Hello Sylvie, Thank you for the 5/5 review. We really appreciate the fabulous score.We do not have guest WiFi on the island, which is noted online and in guest correspondence. You are welcome to bring a portable wifi, however, most guests are happy to disconnect during their relaxing holiday.

A wonderful stay at the property. The staff was excellent. Shout out to Chase, Sarah, and Tommy. They worked non-stop to make sure our guest experience was perfect. The meals were excellent but with the heat, it would have been nice to have some lighter dining options.

Amazing location and beautiful bungalows overlooking pristine beach and bay. 5 day stay and loved it… so relaxing and part of nature. Only thing to change… music playlists as after a day they repeat (although staff happy to change at my request- thanks Tommy and Chase).
Very friendly cockatoos, love nuts!

Dette er paradis på jord. Unik beliggenhet. Jeg anbefaler på det sterkeste denne perlen. Velkomsten var fantastisk. Personalet meget hjelpsomme og service på høyt nivå. Det er meget god mat og god variasjon. De var behjelpelig med sightseeing, dekket nydelig bord på stranden for feiring og tilrettelegging for nydelig opphold. Jeg ønsker takke personalet for meget god service. En spesiell takk til Tommy, Francisco, Cas and Iceely. Dere gjorde oppholdet magisk. Dette stedet anbefales på det sterkeste. Det vandrer koselige dyr rundt på området. Anbefaler alle gjester ta med inntekts spray til stedet. Det er båttransport til øyen, men kan være litt vanskelig med tanke på planlegging av turer som ikke er organisert fra øyen. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake ved en annen anledning.

Great location, adults only. Manager Kate and her staff all went out of their way to assist whenever required. Only negative is that the meal selection is a' la carte for all meals and they don't vary the menu so a bit limiting. Suggest you take a few snacks.

If need to just rest & take your loved one away for the weekend or a few days. Do yourself a favour book this place & catch a well deserved break. If swimming , walking, working on ur tan & catching up on sleep is your thing then look no further for a perfect island retreat. Staff were very friendly & helpful. My wife needed a good rest & she loved it. It’s Quite, food is good & reasonably priced & very low key. Would definitely return here for a relaxing break! Cheers Michael Nov 2023

An idyllic escape for a few days. The resort is beautiful, simple and quiet and amazing location. There are so many animals which was a bonus - I saw shovelnosed rays, sting rays, a turtle, wallabies and of course the very forward cockatoos which patrol the resort! The staff were lovely and it is a great place sleep, read in the hammock, swim, snorkel, go for short hikes and enjoy cocktails by the pool.

Loved the peaceful & relaxed vibe. Spectacular sea views from room 18. Menu could have had more lighter options, portion sizes were much too big. Could be enhanced with a acoustic band, duo or single to enjoy in the restaurant/bar until about 10 PM as had no night life.

Gorgeous setting, the food and wait staff really let this place down. The food was not made with love and often came out Luke warm. The waiters were not professional and lacked warmth and enthusiasm. The reception staff were friendly and professional.

Everone really cared to make my stay enjoyable and calming. I never felt crowded in by buildings or people even when dining. Lots of native animals wandering through the property and beautiful landscaping including some Balinese statues and water sculpture.

Such a beautiful beautiful place to get away from the world. Amazing hospitality, staff go above and beyond. Kate is so lovely and accommodating. All staff were professional and so polite. Lots of activities for all levels of fitness. Everything was clean and tidy. Room 2 needs a handrail on the steps. Being septic, there’s a slight smell nearish the room we stayed but not inside. This wouldn’t stop us staying again though, everything else out shone any issues. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, wish we’d stayed longer.

We actually found Paradise on Long Island staying at "Palm Bay Resort". It was absolutely gorgeous, such a beautiful place to stay, like being on a deserted island with 5 star everything!!!! Kate and the Staff look after you like your Royalty!!! We didn't want to leave, but we will be back.

Superbe hôtel, vue magnifique
Lieu situé sur une île magnifique, personnel tres accueillant et aimable. Ce séjour était particulier pour nous car j'ai fais ma demande à ma belle, dommage que l'hôtel ne pouvais contribuer à faire de ce moment un moment plus spécial/inoubliable. Un petit nettoyage des ventilateurs seraient bienvenue dans les chambres sinon tres bien.

The staff are beautiful welcoming friendly & professional. I thoroughly recommend the Day Spa Services. George & Teed Teed are masters at there craft. Cocktails are worth the price & you have to try all of them. Food was great & always delicious. It was a deserted Island experience with all the luxuries that you would want to connect with nature & a loved one.

The island is beautiful and very ‘natural’ but, the property in general needs allot of work. It is however under new management, so hopefully that will change. It was quite noisy with machinery going almost constantly during our stay. You are expected to know that there is no table service for breakfast or lunch & no one lets you know. Staff walked past our table for 15 mins without letting us know you need to grab your own menu & order at the bar. (Another guest told us as the same thing had happened to them the day before) The chief, while adequate wasn’t the high standard we were expecting from a resort like this - especially when you only have one dining option. (They can NOT cook a steak & breakfast was burnt 2 days in a row) Great bar staff. Cocktails were top notch, although bar is only open till 9pm. The manager/owner was really lovely and very helpful, but her staff are definitely letting her down. In general, the service and standard I have come to expect from an island resort however was just not there.

So peaceful. Loved our bungalow right next to the water. Catering staff were very happy to comply with special requests. Pool area perfect. Staff extremely friendly & accommodating.

The location and views are stunning. The resort is rather tired, but the staff make up for that as they are so friendly and pleased to help and provide an excellent service. It is not self catering but their kitchen make superb meals, good coffee in the morning and a cracking pina colada. I would recommend staying in a beach bungalow. Not platinum house as it's on the other side which doesn't have the beautiful views and was very windy.

Hi there. My wife & I recently visited the magnificent palm bay resort for 3 nights & were very pleased with the location & resort. Firstly it is great to see that you have advertised for resort manager as it truly needs it. I’m not normally one to complain but barge repairs & staff launching a jet ski with quads with foul mouths on the main beach midday is not ideal. Private, secluded & intimate? There were daily visiting boats & jetskis staying the day parking up on the beach using the island/resort facilities which forced the paying guests to wait which I though was unfair. Sorry for the complaint but hopefully the new management will clear this up & continue the magnificent resort. My wife & I can see extreme potential at palm bay resort with the right management. Thanks for hosting us & we will be back.
