“I was not impressed. Arrived and had to step over bags of laundry to get into room. It was cold and found out the fireplace was the heater but the pilot light was out. Bedside lamp had a burned out bulb. Coffee maker didn't work. The outside was a little depressing the patio was full of dead leaves and the fence needed repair. All in all, the place in general needs a lot of sprucing up. I will say the staff was very well trained in customer service though. Very accommodating.”
“Hotel Salem is so thoughtfully laid out! The staff is all so helpful and kind! I absolutely loved my room. The Hotel is right near Trader Joes and some restaurants. I cannot say enough how my one night stay was so helpful and soothing to me during a very stressful time.”
“The ladies at the front desk when I was checking in were very helpful with directions to OHSU where I was heading the next morning. When I told them that I had to leave earlier than when their breakfast was started, I was offered a to-go breakfast that was waiting for me when I departed. I used to stay at the nearby Holiday Inn Express when I was still working, but the Phoenix was $60 a night cheaper and every bit as nice. Guess that I have a new favorite motel in Albany, Oregon.”
“I had the best stay in Newberg, visiting my family and wanting a little get-away for a couple days. The staff was amazing, the check-in was smooth, they rushed to get my room ready and the front desk person was so warm and friendly. In the morning I went to the coffee shop downstairs and had the most delicious latte with sea salt and honey, again the staff was incredible, so full of personality and warmth.
