“Honestly, after a number of disappointing stays recently, we weren't expecting much so we could avoid being disappointed. But, we were anything but. “We had a wonderful stay at the Old Lantern Inn in Charlotte VT. Our room was large with a king and a twin bed and views of Lake Champlain. The inn was very quiet and clean. We can’t say enough about the innkeeper Lisa; she went above and beyond to ensure that not only were our needs met, but our expectations exceeded. Continental breakfast is modest but tasty. “The Inn has a beautiful setting, situated right on the lake. Our room had everything you needed for the stay. The small kitchen area had a fridge, microwave and some snacks and drinks. The setting is idyllic. The room was spacious and clean. There was a coffee spill on the wall next to the bed that was there, but other than that it was lovely. Staff is not present at the facility. “A beautiful tiny home very clean, a great layout and the place had pretty much anything that you needed for your stay. Not sure exactly what classifies as beach access. There is a set of stairs that takes you right down to the water. Now we went in the spring and the water is high so if there is a beach, it is underwater currently, from what I can tell, it is very rocky. I would recommend this rental to friends and family.
