“Great location! We did not have to drive the whole week except a run to the grocery store. Which we didnt have to buy much, because so many things, like mayo, mustard and ketchup were already there. Even some coffee (it’s a Keurig by the way.) The pool is close and cleaned every day. Small glitch with the AC when we first arrived but the owners responded quickly and got it fixed the next day. So many restaurants and free entertainment within walking distance - never a dull moment in CB!”

“The room was small (which we knew), however, it was clean (we walked around barefoot), private, had all of the necessities and we would stay there again. It served its purpose, a very comfortable place to lay your head. The mattress, was on point- which is hard to find when renting. It does have low ceilings, but at 6’0”, I was fine and stayed aware- didn’t even have to lower my head in the shower… that was amazing. ”

“What a great location, close to the beach, restaurants, and bars, ice cream shops and a few stores. The rooms are very nice with a nice bedroom, pull out bed, excellent kitchen appliances. TV in bedroom and family room. Balcony was great to sit out on! The staff are very friendly and very customer focused. The allow dogs it was great place for our black lab. Reasonable price. Nice pool but it is not heated but not an issue during the summer time.”

“Everything in the listing is accurate. The beach access was less than 5 minutes away. There was a beautiful view of the sunset each night. The decks face in opposite directions so there is always someplace to sit outside. The host provides everything you need. Groceries were within 3 miles. Plenty of restaurants and the Boardwalk was within 2 miles. We really enjoyed our stay. ”

“Positives: Beautiful view of the river, overlooks the riverwalk, close to good seafood restaurants like Elijahs and Pilot House.Clean, comfortable bed, updated condo.Negatives: As mentioned in other reviews, either provide a TP holder OR a brand new roll of toliet paper for your guests. Something unsanitary about sticking your fingers in a roll that was used by previous guests.Along that same line...a used kitchen sponge is unsanitary too....why not provide a new one for your guests?Finally,...

“Loved the location. Walked on the river walk every morning. Great restaurants, bars and ice cream to walk to. Only 20 min from Wrightsville Beach. Had no hot water and they immediately came that night. Noticed the water pump looked blown, so next morning they moved us to their loft toward the other end of downtown. Very responsive and accommodating. Would definitely book again. ”

It was great to stay in a historic house and get that unique experience. Comfy couch, very clean, had all the amenities we needed, fans were great during the warm weather. “The pictures do not do justice to the beauty of this condo on the river. Close to everything downtown. The Battleship USS North Carolina anchors right across the river with a view from the balcony. The washer and dryer make cleaning clothes easy. Everything you need is in the comfort of this condo. A separate bedroom is great because I get up early and my wife gets up later. No arguments here.
