Food lovers will delight in the many local restaurants serving international cuisine and fine wines whilst an excellent selection of shops and supermarket’s are on hand for those who undertake ’self catering’ whilst on holiday, quite a novelty if you’re not used to a Rayburn.

Ryecroft is a lovely example of a very traditional Lakeland cottage with pretty, floral fabrics reflecting the wash of colour in the garden during the spring. Original fireplaces have been retained in the lounge and bedroom whilst the bespoke country kitchen is a real talking point, The Rayburn supplying necessary heat just the place to dry those wet walking socks! The master bedroom features a romantic double bed and feature fireplace, whilst the twin room boasts an ivory decorative style and traditional metal bedsteads.
