“Really lovely hotel with charm and personality. Room was spacious, bed very comfortable and proper window blinds made the room dark for sleeping. Breakfast was really nice, basic range of alternative but everything was nicely cooked and of good quality. Lovely setting by the river, lots of restaurants nearby and a 5-minute walk to the main shopping street. Would definitely recommend this place to a friend!”

“The room was dirty and smell of smoke and old sweat. The blinds were broken and since the window didn't open we had to keep the door open to get some fresh air into the room. The service was ok, we had a steak at night at the pub, since the restaurant was closed due to some kind of celebration. The steak was overcooked but otherwise ok. The clientel at the pub though made it unconfortable to eat there. Breakfast was great, so at least we left satisfied in that perspective.”

The hosts were so friendly and there were lots of clear instructions on how to use the hot tub etc. The location was perfect, and we LOVED the decor of the place - so quirky and right up our street as we are a rock n roll loving family.
