“It’s a perfect escape for a couple, a beautiful setting and very intimate. A couple of things that are good to know: the bathroom doors are louvered, so if you are not already on comfortable bathroom habit status with your person, this might change that! As other reviews have noted, the bed is fairly hard. Two nights would be my maximum. And if you are at all pillow picky and are wondering if you should bring your own, you should. It was a beautiful peaceful place and we had a wonderful time....

“Excellent communication, helpful tips, air conditioning was a life saver for the heat. Patio and deck were lovely to spend time amongst the trees. I partticularly enjoyed the old school microwave and hood, and found the kicthen to be very capable. The baby travel crib was super helpful as well for our 9 month old.”

“The five of us really enjoyed our stay. The property is wonderful and well stocked. We were surprised to have the hot tub maintenance person show up one day around 8am, but otherwise it was an extremely peaceful and private spot. Would stay there again! ”

“This is an amazing place to stay! Gorgeous setting, easy access to nature and to day trips to Anderson Valley for wine tasting or Mendocino for brunch and a small town tour. “Pictures do not do this special place justice. Such a quaint spot to experience Healdsburg/Dry Creek. Perched on a hill of a historic generational vineyard. So welcoming and charming. Fruit trees, sweet outdoor space for scenic sunrises and sunsets. Spacious and comfortable accommodation. And very accommodating hosts. Hope to return and would recommend to anyone visiting the area.”

“We had a wonderful stay at the Old Timer. What a cozy and relaxing treasure of a house. The deck looking over the river was so relaxing and peaceful. The fireplace was a beautiful element that made the evenings so cozy. The entire space was spotlessly clean, and the space was just as it looked in the photos, with the comfiest couch to lounge on. I would definitely return in the future and recommend to others. ”

"Nice and clean room. The air conditioning system was noisy, we had to turn it off in the middle of the night becuse of the noise. The hotel is located two blocks from Sonoma Plaza where all the restaurants and many tasting rooms are located."
