“Wonderful! We were pleasantly surprised to find the welcome package with bottled water and bars. What a nice idea to take a break before unpacking. The notebook with restaurant suggestions was a tremendous help too.”

“The house is comfortable, clean, and well stocked. Vrbo has this house not far from Bar Harbor, but it is actually a bit over an hour drive. We didn't mind the drive, but you should at least be aware. The house is, however, not far from Schoodic and Winter Harbor, which also allows you to experience much of the same hikes, water sports, etc. as Bar Harbor. ”

“The sunshed is delightful -- the windows over the bed mean a lovely view for falling asleep and waking. The outdoor shower and compost toilet were clean and the shower pressure was great. Heads up if you'll be arriving after dark -- signage is small and the lighting is minimal to non-existent. Also would have been great to have a flashlight in the shed (be sure to bring yours/have your phone charged and ready).”

“Spacious, clean rental. Nice trails out back for a short walk to Grand Marsh Bay. We enjoyed the open concept on the first floor and the spacious bedrooms on the second floor. Great property for traveling with extended family. Note if you are traveling with kids, make sure to check them well for ticks as this is woodys New England and they are everywhere. ”

“Very nice property - my family needed the space and took up the 2-bedroom side unit. It was clean and quiet, no disturbance from the busy restaurant in the main building. In fact, it was very convenient when we anted some wine and could walk over to the bar inside. When we arrived, I went in to the main building and the restaurant hostess was right there, she directed us right to the door of the unit and I had the access code in my email - that could not have been any easier or faster.It is a...
