“My sister-in-law and I had a quick weekend getaway to wine country and this cottage was perfect! We each got our own room and room to spead out comfortably. And a beautiful surprise was a bouquet of fresh flowers waiting for us! Amazing! It was well equipped for cooking (and a very sensitive fire alarm) and the views were gorgeous. We enjoyed cups of coffee every morning overlooking the front. Just perfect!”

“The house is adorable. Every little comfort has been thought about and provided. From the couch to the bedding, it felt like a home. The outside is fabulous. Woods and a great firepit made the nights fun and full of laughter. We spent the days hiking the AT or enjoying a good book, that we found from the ample selection, on the shelves inside. There are no complaints, just thanks for such a wonderful stay.”

“This was a beautiful and quiet setting perfectly located for our interests which were hiking the Appalachian Trail, exploring the Blue Ridge Parkway, and enjoying a day trip to Thomas Jefferson’s home at Monticello. The property was clean, well laid out, and functional. Communication was clear. We had a wonderful stay.”

“This place was perfect size for my husband and I and another couple to stay and enjoy an extended weekend. I give it a 4 star over all stay due to the 2 bedroom has more of a closet door instead of a true door that had difficulty closing at night. All new appliances were perfect for cooking dinner at night and perfect location to do the Nelson 151 wine tour.”

“My family of three (2 adults and one 3yo) had the best time at the cottage. As we approached upon arrival we had breathtaking views of fields and fields of pink-blossomed peach trees. The view from the cottage itself was beautiful, with mountains in the distance and a peaceful farm in the forefront. “The location of the house was perfect for what we had planned for the weekend which was to attend several wineries over our 3-day weekend. A lot of them are withing 10-15 minutes from the house. We were also only 10 minutes from the entrance to the Shenandoah National Park so it was an easy access to hiking and picnicking. The reviews do mention that Interstate 64 runs close by the house and you can see it through the trees and it was noisy but we were only at the house at night so it wasn't...

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this condo. Quiet neighborhood and very comfortable. Appreciated all the basics offered that other rentals do not such as soap, garbage bags, toilet paper. But the owners went above that and had lotions, specialty soaps, cleaning supplies etc. Well stocked kitchen for cooking. While it was just the two of us we liked that there were games available for families and there was a nook upstairs for kids to get away. Highly recommend and would definitely come visit...
