Spend a day browsing the stalls at Wisbech Market (8 miles) and then take a stroll through the lovely gardens at Peckover House, just 0.5 miles from the market. Alternatively, head to the charming coastal town of King’s Lynn (20 miles) to admire its quaint cobbled streets, medieval architecture and picturesque waterfront. Or make a beeline to the impressive Sandringham Estate (24 miles) to experience the grandeur of this gracious royal residence as you stroll through the Water Gardens, the Walled Garden and the Winter Garden. You may even be lucky enough to spot some deer.
Park your car in the shared driveway before heading to this charming single-storey cottage, which is adjoined to the owner’s home. Up one step and you’ll be greeted by a bright and airy dining area which showcases a fresh, tropical-style decor. Head to the inviting sitting area and make yourself at home before heading to the smart kitchen area to cook up a scrumptious meal for your loved ones. Gather everyone together for meals at the dining table with beautiful garden views. After dinner, head back to the sitting area and catch up on your favourite TV show. Also, there are two beautifully designed double bedrooms, both light and airy. To complete the layout, you’ll find a modern bathroom with a walk-in shower and a separate WC.
Outside, you’ll find a specious lawn and enclosed garden, which is also perfect if you are bringing along a canine companion. Fire up the BBQ and enjoy alfresco dining on the patio and relax in the igloo-style gazebo. You can also take advantage of the private indoor swimming pool, infrared sauna and hot tub (solely for the use of guests).
