âAbsolutely loved our stay! Very quaint inn with a lot of history. We will definitely be returning. Only downside Iâll mention is we wouldâve loved to have the option to open the windows overnight, as it was a bit warm when we returned. We ended up powering on the AC which worked well, but wouldâve been great to feel that fresh air off the lake.â

âGood location, really bad view from the room though with a construction site just outside the window.
Our room was just 10 meters from the pool area which had really late opening hours to 11 pm. A lot of noisy kids and everything smelled so much chlorine(?) from the pool. Avoid third level if you want a quiet evening and morning.
We stayed here a few days earlier as well on the fourth floor and that was just great but still a really bad view. â

âWe had a great 2-night stay at the Saddlery when dropping off our Freshman at U-Madison. We had a lovely view of Lake Monona, and our 2-bedroom unit was great for the three of us, plus extra space to stash all of our kiddo's dorm stuff for the night (didn't want to leave it in the car). Everything seemed new, and we appreciated the kitchen for breakfast! I will say that neither of our bedrooms had windows - they were on the interior of the unit. But the bedrooms had ceiling fans so that...

âOne of the best rooms we have had in a while. Update. New. Loved the breakfast and coffee. Easy, close parking deck attached to property. $21/night not a deal killer. â

âThis was an unexpected last-minute stay and we were SO delighted to find this gem in the heart of Madison. This is the perfect place to find relaxation and also access all of the excitement and fun that Downtown Madison has to offer. Sunrises and sunsets are unparalleled and the hosts were welcoming and provided top-notch service! I hope to be able to stay again after their upcoming renovations.â
âLoved the warm cookies when we arrived (just after midnight đ) it was a lovely end to a long drive. Very comfortable room, yet only one elevator was working each day which slowed things down. Plus a 12:30am fire alarm on our second night was not enjoyable but these things happen at times and we are glad everyone was safe. â
