Morgan at Reception on Tuesday afternoon 15/7/25 was fantastic… very helpful, very pleasant! Dinner was very nice…and the wait staff pleasant and efficient! “The room was beautiful, we were in a room at the top which retained the original features of beams. Clean and fresh.
We needed to keep the fan on all of the time we were in the room so we're glad it wasn't too hot outside.
The simple addition of a hook on the bathroom door would negate the need to put items near the sink, on the toilet while changing. But all in all we wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Wheatsheaf.”

“Omg! What a fantastic hotel! We are a family of 4 adults 2 children and 2 dogs. We were welcomed to the hotel by a warm, friendly lady, who offered us all of the information we needed. The following morning it was just wonderful to see that there were breakfast tables available to sit at with our 2 dogs (who are our babies!) Breakfast was lovely!
