Pensionat i Witney

“I was a bit confused about this property. The welcoming sign still says The Plough Inn, whereas the booking says AbingPlough. It seems a bit of a mish-mash shambles to be honest. But the beds were clean and comfortable. The young woman who looked after us was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was probably a 6/10. Even though we'd pre-ordered items they weren't correct and some were cold. Highly recommend the nearby Barley Mow for dinner. Very good. I think it serves breakfast on some days...

“The Royal Oak is outstanding in every respect. If you're staying a night, its facilities are unusually generous and extensive; if you're eating, the menu and the food are great; and if you just want a drink, there's a bar area and plenty of seating outside. The staff are lovely. Plus there's plenty of local information, books, games and events, not to mention a farm shop. If you can tear yourself away, visit Wayland's Smithy a couple of miles away along the Ridgeway.”

“I normally don’t leave reviews but for something like this I was extremely disappointed. The room I was in was not clean and when I asked the property owners to change the sheets they said that I put something on it, mind you I’d just gotten there two minutes ago and they were showing me my room. The outlet was undone and felt dangerous. The bathroom was so small you couldn’t open the door all the way as it would hit the sink half way through. This wasn’t a very cheap rate either, the easy hotel...

“Een standaard kamer. Prima voor een paar nachten. Personeel nagenoeg niet gezien, geven weinig tot geen informatie. Fijn dat je er kan parkeren, in de buurt van openbaar vervoer.”
