“We had an absolutely wonderful time! We loved the space, especially the big deck for stargazing and the creek for splashing around. There was AC throughout the house which made the hot days easy. This place is a total gem and only 12 minutes from town and the river! The only thing we would change for our next visit is that we would bring an extra air mattress as some of the fold out couches weren’t super comfortable. “We had an amazing stay at the Kern Lodge and Kernville. The lodge and the pool is very nice & it was very close for us to go to our two days rafting trip we had booked with the Whitewater Rafting company. The rafting was an adventure of our lifetime for me and my daughter Amanda (11 years old). It was such an adventure and they offered a lot of nice snacks and great food on the two days rafting trip, sleeping outdoors in the nature at the camp site. Nice barbecue.
