“I did not realise that we were staying in a plantation village, with multiple accommodation. I had made a request for two beds and, as it was a slow time of year, we got two bedrooms. Pahala is a very cute town (and currently the only one with a grocery store as the one in Naalehu was no longer as at 28 Jan 25). The people were also really friendly. “We had a wonderful stay at the Volcano Forest Inn. The large room, access to the full kitchen/common area, the quiet location surrounded by the rainforest, and the private deck allowed us to enjoy a relaxing visit. The inn has a great location just outside the national park. We were able to stop at several places before they became busy. “Trevligt hus nära Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park. Jag tror att det är 9 rum i huset och 3 badrum. Badrummen är fina men det finns alltid folk som inte tar hänsyn och duschar i en halv timme. Fint kök och vardagsrum som delas av alla. Väldigt trevligt att träffa folk från hela världen runt matbordet och dela vad man har med dem. Kan varmt rekommenderas.”
