“The Howland House was situated in the most perfect spot in the Catskill Mountains! Very clean property, outstanding staff who never say no and go out of their way to help you.... The only thing I didn't care for, but not really a big deal, was that we had to share the 2 bathrooms down the hall with two other rooms. “Overall amazing stay! Location, staff, food, aesthetic and coziness all 10/10!”

“Great space to comfortable fit a family of 4.”

“nice and clean - large room”

“Cheap hotel but still not value for money. ”

“Beautiful Location. Clean room, staff was very helpful. Food options where very limited.”

“There is nothing special about this property but it is FINE if you just need a clean, no frills place to rest your head. It is reasonably priced, too. There was a TV, and a clean microwave and a clean mini-fridge. The busy road is not far, even though the motel is set back, and the rooms are in a line so you inevitably hear the slammed door of your neighbors. Convenient with lots of businesses nearby.”

“It’s a cool space but it’s filthy. There is dust and cobwebs everywhere. The windows need a cleaning. Sorry I sat on the porch last night as my cost is dirty from the dirt on the rocking chair. I read in reviews that some folks had croissants outside their door in the am. We did not have that experience. Our room had a tub with a handheld shower and no privacy. I was either a friend, not a partner. It a nice location right near the waterfront. Give the place a good cleaning.”

“Terrible night sleep, up until 1-1:30 because of 7 police cars and an ambulance people slamming each other against my door. Terrible night”
