Will definitely return in the future. I will add that the pictures don't do the property justice, much bigger then it looks. Very comfortable bed slept very well just what we needed a well earned rested getaway. Highly recommended”

“The Golden Bay holiday park is in a wonderful location, close to the sea and the town centre, and its very quiet, hard to beat anywhere else in Westward Ho! Early vibes had been poor. At 7pm before the day of our arrival I had to remind our “premier?” Host for some arrival instructions, which we received shortly afterwards with an apology and an instruction to bring towels (bath, beach, hand and tea), loo rolls, kitchen rolls, washing up liquid, hand soap and bin liners! “We had a lovely stay at Felicity's chalet. We had one problem but she dealt with that very quickly & kept in touch throughout. The chalet was lovely, it had everything we needed & an amazing view. We would definately stay again.”

“For context, holiday parks aren't my thing as a rule. That said, I'd revisit this chalet if I was coming back to the area, no issues. It's a good spot to visit this part of the coast and if you do want to use the holiday park facilities you couldn't be better placed, a very short walk from the pools, the shop and the bar/restaurant. The chalet has everything you need for your stay and is well looked after and comfy.”

“We had a great weeks stay at the Thistledown lodge. The property was very clean and perfect for our arrival. The instructions/directions were clear and made for easy arrival. The lodge was perfect for us and our dog. The lodge had everything we required for a great stay. The hot tub was perfect as well, while the dog enjoyed her time in the garden (which was fully secure for her to roam about freely) The lodges location was a short walk to two great local pubs, which both served great food....

“The hot tub, the biggest attraction for us, could’ve been a few degrees warmer as it was raining and very cold outside but the place was spacious, pleasant and we had a lovely 2 night stay which was the perfect amount.”

“Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Lovely lodge albeit a bit tired in places. Peaceful, quiet and comfortable. Hot tub was lovely, warm and smelled clean. Staff very friendly and professional. Only drawback is it's 5 miles from nearest shop so if you forget anything you have a treck to get whatever. Gorgeous meal in restaurant. Would return”

“We had a fabulous week in your beautiful apartment. We call this the doggos holiday as we do everything they love, spend all day and night with them while they run, walk, swim, play ball eat and sleep. Perfect location for our week, beautiful views, coastal walks and beaches. Lots of places to eat and drink on the doorstep in Mortehoe or venture into Woolacombe , eat at Barricane Beach, is highly recommended and Lee Bay, Grampous Inn is a must .Croyde for the Manor House.
