“I adore Edwin and his family. They took very good care of this solo woman traveler. He feed me very well!! The atmosphere was very authentic to how the locals live in the jungle. It is rustic. Shower did not have hot water.. I did have the room with a.c. Very nice. I will for sure go here again.”

“Cassia Hills has been around a long time and is a lovely property. Lounging by the pool was great, staff brought us fresh coconuts. In fact, the staff really MADE our stay. They bent over backwards to ensure that everything was great, helped us when asked and were lovely to interact with. Joe, Carlos and Sarlee (front desk) were friendly and kind. “When I made the reservation I thought we were at the main lodge and not at the camp. Of course the property is beautiful Accommodations were nice beds very comfortable , staff and was great but having to get up to walk to the bathroom was not fun for me so in the future when I book I will be making sure I’m at the main lodge. I think the camp is great for backpackers and those on a budget. ”

“We had an amazing experience staying here. It was close to the shuttle bus, market, restaurants. Having a kitchen made it easier to pack food for next day.
Our host was very very helpful! She suggested local restaurant to try and helped us to find a last minute replacement tour early morning as our got cancelled late at night! We were able to leave our luggages there while we went to a half day tour, even after check out time. I highly recommend staying here! ”

“I only have positive things to say about this hotel. It exceeded our expectations. The location is PERFECT. Right next to all the tour operators, the town square, restaurants, the market, the bus to Xunantunich, etc.
