Det är The Seventh Wave nu, men en gång var det en enkel gul cederträma med namnet Elaines Rocky Coast.
Nu med det är signatur entré och däck, det omvandlas till vad som är en av de mest
arkitektoniskt igenkännbara hem i Yachats!

Detta hus ligger inbäddat i kanten av Yachats cederträd med utsikt över den klippiga kusten och en sällsynt tidvattenpoolplateau.
en lugn viksutsikt bakad med långa trädbelagda berg i söder;
ett oändligt förändrat hav och himmel för att matcha det humör som förhoppningsvis förde dig här.
Perfekt för en familjesemester; konstverk; eller att sitta och skriva den romanen du har transporterat runt inuti dig.

Njut av kraschen av vågor under stormiga dagar medan du ser på valar
i stillheten i ett glasskärmsskyddad andra historia däck.
På natten sträcker du ut på skinnsofforna och blir lulled för att sova medan du tittar på
körsbärsröd kol och eld i frittstående eldstaden kastade skuggor på cedermurarna.

DSL-bredband och ett komplett kabel-tv-paket med 5: 1 surroundljud i nedre medieutrymmet
kommer att hålla barnen upptagna, eller den som vill checka in med arbetsinnehåll!

Havsutsikten är obegränsad och det finns bara skog bakom dig.

Beautiful location

The location is excellent with trails right behind the house to all the cool shops in town. The view of the ocean is amazing and there are tide pools right there. Dog friendly was a major plus! The house is a little funky but very comfortable. Look forward to staying there again!

Love the location and the house

We've stayed here in the past and love it, however, it had been a while and it definitely needs some TLC, dead bolt completely rusted, dishwasher inside was not so great, and no instructions about the heat, very different temperatures in different rooms. Hope some things get repaired as we would love to come back. Thank you,

Reviewer Comments: This place is great! the house is right on the water. tons of places to sit and watch the waves. fenced yard for dogs. was very clean. the company was amazing and went above and beyond. the kitchen has all the tools you need but no salt/oil etc so plan ahead. the location is basically the best - on the water but also walking distance to town. would 1000000% recommend and will for sure go back!!!

Views upon sunsets

Overall we enjoyed our stay. Ocean views outstanding. Sunsets amazing. The home is older with a need for some updates and maintenance. However, these pale when you consider the view and proximity to downtown. Walking distance.

Comforts of Home on the Ocean

This place was a great getaway for some much needed coastal time. Peaceful neighborhood and you can watch the waves crash across the ocean while enjoying a glass of wine on the coach. You can hear the waves all ugh and it’s amazing. The place is. I let decorated and maintained especially for the cost. I love the feel of the place full of warmth and comfort while you gaze out to enjoy nature at its best.

Your house was perfect for us- grandparents, daughter and 2 grandkids. Loved the view and quirky vibe. A few maintenance items: Refrigerator freezer not cold, fan and coil may need cleaning. Main electric wires to house have broken support cable- dangerous and could cause a fire. Replacing weathered front door would make a better first impression. Just FYI.

October getaway

Mostly clean. Mold in upstairs bdrm shower. Two lights upstairs broken. Both tv’s were not connected and no directions on how to use the Roku tv. Sink in downstairs bathroom drained very slowly-we fixed it. No hair dryers. However location and views were amazing. Screens and blinds are needed upstairs. Blinding during sunset Also

Beautiful Beach Christmas

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Perfect spot with beach views, area to walk along the cliffs. We chose it for our family vacay with adult children, so three couples. Furry family included make it perfect. The fenced area in the back yard sure is handy for the dogs quick outdoor needs. The house is eclectic and fun!! The view is spectacular. The Fireplace is a must and so cozy. I wish I had brought some christmas lights along to festive up the outdoor patio. Although the weather was mostly rainy, we had a great time, made use of the excellent home theater space and the nice kitchen table for board games. Everyone had a beautiful Christmas. Thank you for sharing your unique home.

Excellent location in scenic Yachats

There were some hiccups upon arrival since the clean-up crew was still working for over an hour after the check-in time. The location of the house couldn't be better, right across the street from the beach. The views were spectacular. The house itself was comfortable but could use a fair amount of maintenance. (fix the dishwasher door, leaky faucets, replace light bulbs, etc). We never could figure out if the upstairs TV had cable. Despite any small issues, we had a great time and would return.

Sunset ocean home

We loved the location! Having a fenced yard across from the ocean? Wow just amazing. The furnishings are older and some switches don’t seem to work (never could figure out how to turn the lights on under the kitchen counters on the east side, separate switch for the two on the south side), but it is cozy and has all the necessary items one would need. We will definitely be back but we may bring our own pillows and towels just because we like it fluffy not old and tattered. Washer and dryer were very good and quick. Bathroom downstairs has the tub/shower combo large enough for two but the shower head, although huge and looks amazing, is NOT so we only showered upstairs but it would be fine for kids, dogs or baths.

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented this house for the third time for the location. There are definitely pros to the house, we like the ocean view, the idea of an outdoor space with an ocean view, it’s kind of unique and Yachats is a fun little town with a community feel. The cons this time were maybe outweighing the pros. The house and especially the deck need work. One of the large glass deck windows looked like it could just fall out. The deck was dirty, the ocean view windows were dirty, the chairs were broken, the bbq and tools are in bad condition. We had to clean and sweep. I really wish houses would furnish a few basic cleaning supplies. There were broken glass string lights with a burnt plug strung across the deck. We rented the house for the view I just wish we could have enjoyed it more. The outside needs some cleaning and repair. Also the “new” couches downstairs are pretty uncomfortable. I did reach out to management about garbage day and never got an answer to my question.

Superb location shadowed by poor cleaning

Such a special location overshadowed by poor cleaning. We arrived after office hours for a family gathering. We spent our first few hours cleaning the kitchens so that we could put away our groceries. The counters, cabinets and refrigerator were soiled with oils and residue. The stove and oven were dirty with a piece of aluminum foil placed over the oven floor to accommodate the grime. I called the property manager line and sent an email with the unsatisfactory conditions. The next business day the property manager responded and delivered new pillows, additional glassware and were accommodating to the issues of cleanliness. The property manager acknowledged our concerns that the property was in need of deep cleaning. We had moved items from the armoires in bedrooms where volumes of old comforters were stored to the point of a musty scent in the bedrooms. After we sprayed Lysol the musty smell was reduced. Throughout our stay we dealt with the dishwasher which was loose in the cabinet and falling out every time we tried to load or unload the dishwasher The management company was quickly responsive to our concerns. We had a wonderful time in the home situated proximal to the coast.

7th Wave Needs More than it's Location

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Excellent location! View from the deck is amazing.Access to property and Yachats shops, beach, is great, however, the 7th Wave has been neglected and I would not recommend it to my friends. Here are my reasons:- First impressons: the front door has not seen paint/stain and is peeling wood. The couch next to the front door has an old sofa cushion with multiple tears - the stuffing obviously coming out.- The fireplace hangs from the ceiling in the upstairs living area and is a huge liability. Anyone using it could easily be burned - definitely not for active children.- One of the teflon pots had multiple layers of peeling teflon, not safe. - Lots of plates, wine glasses but only 5 bowls.- Kitchen 'puck' lighting undercounter not working, just a strip installed to compensate. We were a group of watercolor painters and moved a standing lamp and desk type lamp to help light our evening painting in the dining area.- Staircase light going to 2nd floor kit/bedroom/living was out upon arrival, Ocean Odessey came right away to change it. While there, they mentioned the door to the deck from the livingroom had a wonky lock and how not to get locked outside.The door lock was actually held together with duck tape! The window next to it must have had a broken seal (someone trying to get in the was locked out, possibly?), and had not been washed in a very long time. Could not see anything through it.- The person who slept in the 1st floor bedroom said it was dusty upon arrival. She used the humidifier to help the musty smell, and that was most successful.- 3 of the 6 deck chairs were unusable, as the webbing was broken.- The pillows were either old or very cheap, they were extremely flat. Our bedspread had tears along the edging.- Lastly, there was NO INFO book to intro us to the house, area, remotes, nothing. Downstairs TV lasted 20 minutes. Ocean Odessey said it was 'fried'.Note: I have pictures of All
