“We had an amazing stay at the Secret Courtyard Hotel. A lovely neighbourhood with friendly and helpful staff. Food was delicious and the hotel had a calm atmosphere. Walking distance to the reed flute cave, and easy to take a taxi to city center. I can't recommend it enough. ”

“Centrally located. Four floors total. We got a nice view of the water facing the lake. Staff was extremely helpful and they go out of their way to help. Tip: get WeChat App and add the hotel contact and communicate with the language of your choice (ours: English). Breakfast was good but they don’t know how to make omelets which was disappointing! All in all great experience. Hotel manager: ask your chef to learn to make omelets.”

“Exceptional service! The reception team was wonderful—always kind, attentive and happy to help. Even after checkout, they carefully arranged delivery of a toiletry bag we had left behind. The breakfast was very good, too. Their warmth and thoughtful care made our family’s stay truly special. Highly recommended!”

“Speaks english and very helpful”

“Our room was large and comfortable with big picture windows looking at the mountains with a good-sized modern bathroom. The hotel is a lovely old style building with beautiful Chinese furniture. The owner of the hotel was charming and helpful and showed us where to have an excellent dinner in a Chinese restaurant nearby in the village. She even drove us to the nearby Reed Flute Cave as we were unable to call a taxi, and when we left she called a taxi for us and told the driver where to leave...

“You will stay in the middle of the city center, in the same building as McDonalds. Cannot get more confident location. The hotel offer much value for the price level. In addition the hotel also offers a generous breakfast buffet. The hotel’s interior is modern and cozy, but as the price can tell it is a budget hotel so cannot expect a 5 star standard. Cleaning is done well but around some corners, especially in bathroom you will find water damaged marks on the walls. All the staff are super...

“スタッフが親切で、チェックイン時のトラブルも丁寧に対応してくれました。お部屋も綺麗でまた利用したいです。 また市街地の中心部にあるので、とても便利です。”

“The hotel is truly a 5+ star resort. The breakfast was incredible, the rooms more comfortable than I could imagine and the staff was so helpful friendly, and accommodating. I can not praise this property more and anytime my travels take me to Guilin this wull be the only hotel I will stay in. There is 2 restaurants 1 very comfortable and large bar a pools and absolutely beautiful grounds to stroll along with the peacocks that accompany you. They also have a travel agency on the premises that...

“Nice hotel to stay !”

“The front desk staff, Maggie Hu, was amazing. She helped us with booking a six seater luxury van to help us get from our hotel to the Longji terraces on such a last minute request. Our family agreed that she made the best guilin noodles. The noodles were so good that we had requested to have it on both mornings of our stay. She made us feel welcomed, and a part of her family. Her generosity and hospitality will never be forgotten. It definitely made our stay memorable. We were traveling with two...

“La pulizia e la cortesia dello staff alberghiero”

“We spent 3 fantastic days at this hotel. The staff were wonderfully hospitable and very keen to make sure that we were having a good time. The area is very quiet and lovely. Just a few minutes walk from the hotel is Reed Flute Cave, and with a short taxi ride you can reach all of Guilin's tourist attractions. We highly recommend this accommodation!”

“The rooms very a bit old and smelly but I’m sure it has been very nice in earlier days. ”

“It’s good breakfast . Staffs friendly and helpful ”

“Amazing place to stay at. The staff was super friendly. Would definitely stay there again!”

“Super séjour, bel hôtel, le personnel est très sympathique, serviable et prêt à aider au delà des attentes. L'hôtel est propre avec même un service de blanchisserie en libre service et gratuit. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel”

“Very pleasant stay. ”

“Hotel was nice to stay but their organisation is terrible. They didn't have our reservation booking so they gave us a room on the spot. They also didn't give us room service. Highly don't recommend their suggested tours. The tour was rushed, unclear and tour guide was super rude and unprofessional towards foreigners. Will never return back!”
