“The family that took over what was apparently a pretty beat-up motel has made a solid effort to modernize the place, but they still have some way to go.”

“We arrived late in the evening in anticipation for my son's graduation from URI the following morning. We checked in and headed right to the room as we were exhausted from our journey. The room was spotless, the beds were pristine and comfy. We quickly put on our pjs and went to brush our teeth before heading to bed when we realized we forgot our toothpaste!! Aaaaahhhh! I went to the front desk and they did not have any but the gentleman popped out to the local store to get some for us. I said...

“Not worth it”

“We stayed at the hotel because we had a weekend wedding in South Kingstown. Everything was great. Room was very clean, staff very friendly and the beds were so comfortable! Breakfast was very good too. And since we had to bring our Shih Tzu, it was also a huge plus that the hotel is pet friendly. We highly recommend the hotel if you plan to stay in the South Kingstown/Narragansett area.”

“This was a great overnight Inn. The staff was super nice and helpful. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. Only down side was we weren't able to use the fire place after a chilly rain, but staff did get us a few more blankets.”

“The Atlantic House is in the perfect location with amazing views, which is why we chose to stay there. The hotel needs updating. It’s generally clean, bedspreads don’t match the old curtains still hanging, pleather couch and chair in room. The beds were comfortable though. Front desk doesn’t have any toiletries if you forget to bring anything. We stayed on the first floor and could hear everything that was happening above us. “Great location, updated, comfortable rooms and very helpful, friendly staff. We had a fun time using the bicycles they have available (included with the stay) to ride to the beach!”

“Great place to stay and such a short walk to the beach”

“The Inn was lovely. The room was small, but authentic and fine. The problem is the food service is very spotty. The restaurant has limited hours and days- no breakfast except on weekends. Also if you have a room on a Monday, most of the day and all night there is no one working at all- you are alone! And on Tuesday when we needed to check out, there was no one working. We had to leave the keys in an unlocked room. ”
