“I ordered the Sunday Lunch which was very good and loads of it washed down with a very nice and reasonable bottle of Portugese Wine.
The only strange part was going to the bar to order and pay for it up front and then asked if you wanted to leave a tip before you had been served anything and did not know if the service was going to be any good which was very strange - I feel sorry for the staff as I declined the tip upfront but then had no cash with me to make my usual 10% tip after I finished...

“A priceworthy stay with good breakfast and friendly staff. The rooms wood need an overaul but it works ok. I have stayed 2 times and will probably come back next time in the autumn as well. Nearby good park for running and also nice pubs - as well as in the hotel. Good wifi..”

“Booked the Cedar Court in Huddersfield as it was half the price of one of the well known national competitors (starts with a P and ends with Inn), and thought I would take a chance. I needn't have worried it was just as good (if not better than the national chain and its a local hotel group as well !), couldn't have asked for anything more, lovely room, great staff, exceptionally clean and well presented.
Breakfast was great value as well.

“Convenient good value hotel. Spacious clean room in good condition with large comfy bed. Although very close to M62 the double and secondary glazing did a great job to keep the traffic noise out. The included breakfast was grab and go style but the bacon sandwich was hot and well-filled, good choice of other items. We used for a music event in Halifax, and will very probably use next time!”
“The monastery has beautiful gardens to explore in any weather. The accommodation itself is spartan and authentic to the purpose, but is still good material value for money. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again for the gardens alone, but the unique experience is also an attraction.”

Dessvärre er bellingenheden tät på togstationen også et problem. Bor du på de lavere etager og har värelse ud mod stationen larmer togene så meget at det kan väre Svärt at sove. Jag havde et värelse på 7. Etage og kunne simpelthen ikke sove pga toget og aircondition aggregaterne på nabo bygningens tag. De var venlige i receptionen og fik mig op på 12. Her var der ro. Rent og fint värelse - eneste minus var trykket på bruseren. Havde jeg haft langt hår ville det ikke väre muligt at vaske hår.
