“What a magical place. RIGHT on the beach in palapas that open onto the sand and waves. Don't come expecting luxury, but if you are truly looking to get away and experience beach life this is the place.”

“We loved this property but recognize the steep walk up and 55 steps down to our room might not be for everyone. It was just fine for us because the only noise was the sound of waves against the rocks below our room. Also, communication was excellent for us due to problems with Expedia but our hostess patient and helpful. The rooftop patio was lovely with great views of the harbour. The apartment was spacious with very comfortable furniture. ”

“Casa Gratitud was everything we hoped it would be. We enjoyed our stay in this gorgeous home overlooking the bay. The home was clean and well appointed with most everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing weeklong stay. Do be warned that there are 200 stairs from the trail to the house. We enjoyed the daily workout and the view is worth it!Make sure that the water taxi drops you off at the correct pier when you arrive as there are two in the town. “We had a wonderful stay in Yelapa. It was our first time to Yelapa, and Jay helped us organize a private boat to town from a marina close to the airport. The house is also only a minute or so from the town pier.The view from the house was unbeatable, waking up every morning was a delight, and watching sunset in the evenings was amazing as well. The crew in town, Felipe & Yanet took great care of us. The people of Yelapa were also super friendly and I can’t wait to come back.My only complaint was...
