“The inside was clean but the outside picture shows only a marsh. I did not expect it was a trailer/mobile home park with buildings only about 30ft apart. The trailer nearest has around 50 chickens and geese, turkeys and racoons that wraps around the west side of the structure and the marsh is beyond the enclosures. it smells a little from the animals. the roosters started crowing at 5:30 am. The main burner on the stove is all the way hot or not on at all so be careful not to burn food. ...

“I liked the location of this property.”

“The pictures were misleading. The area is within a trailer grave yard. While the host came on the property as we were deciding what to do, he did offer to put us into another place, but given the state of the area, we declined.”

“The property was very clean and exactly as described. It was an excellent place to stay while attending our son’s graduation at Parris Island. Communication with the host was excellent, and any questions or concerns were addressed promptly. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this property!”

“The kids loved the nearby waterfront park!”

“Beautiful room with comfy bed. Roomy with a large walk-in shower. Everything we needed for our stay. We had a little difficulty getting in the front door but it was quickly resolved over the phone. Quiet area and the large front porch is an excellent place to relax. Would stay here again for future travels to the area.”

“I asked for clarification on which room when I booked. Never got a response except the standard thank you response. The ice maker stopped working while there. The shower was cold the first morning and when I notified them, they said it must be user error and I had to ask 3 times for someone to come and look at it. The room was dusty and had fingerprints all over the TV and a broken cord hanging down from the TV. I’ve never left a bad review in all the years I’ve used VRBO. I always give...

“We loved our stay on the marsh at St Helena!! We enjoyed the morning sunrise over the marsh as we enjoyed our coffee. We took full advantage of the kitchen. The home was very clean and we slept comfortably. We hope to visit again soon!!”
