Located on the village green it is just 6 miles from York and close enough to the stunning North Yorkshire Moors and coast for those looking to explore further afield. An array of National Trust properties can be found close by as well as opportunities for fun-filled days out at York Maze or The Viking Centre. Also worth a visit is Dalby Forest with miles of cycle/walking trails and adventures at Go Ape. A visit to Castle Howard is a must, a great day out for all the family. York and Selby are both accessible by cycle along the cycle track.


Recently renovated, the cottage has been beautifully finished yet retains all its original character. Stepping inside the useful utility room with washing machine and plenty of space to store your outdoor gear, including bikes, leading to the well-equipped modern kitchen with electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer, perfect place to rustle up a hearty meal for loved ones. A door off the kitchen leads to the cosy dining area complete woodburner you'll find dining for 6, a perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal. The living room features a second woodburner and antique organ, where you can snuggle up and watch your favourite movie on the Smart TV/DVD. . Downstairs you will also find a shower room with shower and WC. Heading up the cottage stairs to the first floor you will find three bedrooms, two doubles and a twin, the master bedroom has a Smart TV, dressing table and built-in storage. Completing the first floor you will also find a stunning bathroom with free-standing bath and WC.


Heading outside you will find the open spacious garden, you are welcome to pick the fruit in season, enjoy the clear night skies and a spot of al fresco dining. There is plenty of off-road parking for four cars.
