INNAN YOSEMITE! 10 minuter från Yosemite Valley

  • Tio minuter från Yosemite Valley och bekvämt beläget på den asfalterade vägen, erbjuder denna stuga med ett sovrum i Foresta fullständig avkoppling i en lugn miljö. Det kompletta köket är nytt och inkluderar alla moderna apparater (med undantag av diskmaskin) och är utrustade med matplats, kaffebryggare, brödrost, mixer, grytor, kokkärl och disk. Eller använd propan BBQ medan du njuter av det vackra utomhus. Ät på den avskärmade verandan, säker från irriterande buggar, eller koppla av på soffan. Badrummet är också nytt och har en duschkabin och staplad tvättmaskin / torktumlare. Sovrummet har en bekväm king-size-säng (ny för 2019), garderob och extra elektrisk spis. Utrustad med gasvärmare och A / C. Utforska de lugna omgivningarna, promenera till Crane Creek stunder bort och vila sedan under de skuggiga ekarna och tallarna.     Foresta är en bra utgångspunkt för olika Yosemite destinationer, Yosemite Valley, Tuolumne Meadows, Merced & Tuolumne Groves of Sequoias och många vandringsleder. Verizons 4G-nätverk erbjuder gratis satellit-TV, WIFI och HughesNet Gen4 internet.

    Foresta ligger inom gränserna för Yosemite National Park. Foresta (Big Meadow) startade nu som ett ”inholdning” som ett banbrytande område. Två ranches (McCauley och Meyers) levererade nötkött, fläsk, mejeri och grönsaker till hotellen i Yosemite Valley. Under tjugoårsåldern delades den och fick namnet Foresta. Skapad som ett "konstnärligt" samhälle hölls musikaliska sammankomster av bäcken. Efter det stora depressionen såldes många partier för tillbaka skatter. Cirka 75 hus användes, antingen heltid eller säsongsmässigt, innan A-Rock-branden 1993 förstörde de flesta av dem. Mer än hälften av bostäderna har nu byggts om. Eld har varit en avgörande kraft i detta område som visar moder naturens oändliga cykler.

The location Inside the park was awesome. Private, safe and very comfortable. Very rustic cabin but updated with complete kitchen, entertainment and wifi. The best was being minutes from Yosemite Valley and all the great hiking. I would stay here again.

Yosemite vacation

The location was great. The cabin was a perfect size for us, and we had good television reception and internet access which we value. The cabin was well stocked with basic supplies. The interior was comfortable but dated.

Great location inside the park, easy access to everywhere we wanted to visit. One bedroom house with a nice kitchen and living room. We cooked several meals during our stay. Would recommend.

Can’t beat the location. Easy to get to Yosemite Valley and lovely area with meadow, barns, creeks, and little waterfalls just along the street the cabin is located.

Great location in Yosemite!

This was a great cabin. Very close to Yosemite Valley, very clean and comfortable and roomy. The kitchen was nice. The owner always answered me very quickly. It was so quiet and peaceful in the wooded area. I would recommend anyone going to Yosemite to stay here! It was such a pleasant experience.

Property was great! Expect closer to 30 min to get to most Yosemite Valley destinations, but the drive in is gorgeous so can’t really complain there. There’s good cellular service at the property and the host was a great communicator! We had some very uncharacteristic thunderstorms during our stay so some power outages occurred but they were solved reasonably quickly. Nice a quiet with a trail head right behind the property.

A week in nature

We enjoyed this rustic cabin so much It was conveniently located within the park. It provided the relaxed natural experience we were looking for. The house was well stocked and the A/C was a plus with the warm sunny days we had. I highly recommend this place

Loved that this cozy cabin was located within Yosemite NP. Everything we needed was there to make our stay comfortable. Located off the beaten path so suggest finding your way there before dark!

Super Comfortable Cabin

Great place for 2! Well-stocked, clean kitchen. Comfortable and spacious (very remote) environment. 10 min to Yosemite Valley is a STRETCH however - plan on 30-35. Multiple drives back and forth beautiful though. Check-in process a bit bumpy with poor cell reception to reach owner/Wi-Fi login unclear. Owner was very responsive however.

Perfect location

This was the perfect location for exploring the valley. Come prepared with groceries in hand and you will be set for tranquility and some great treks into the valley. The space was clean and as advertised. Owners were very responsive and helpful.

Great cabin

We enjoyed staying in this cabin within Yosemite. It was quiet, private, clean, and had everything we needed. Being inside the park made it very easy and convenient to drive to all the sites we wanted to see. My recommendations to make the bedroom more comfortable for guests would be to eventually get a more comfortable bed and to have a fan in the bedroom. There is a ceiling fan but the overhead light wouldn’t turn off while the fan stayed on. Thank you for the great stay!

Very nice cabin!

This is a very nice cabin in an out of the way spot INSIDE Yosemite National Park. Nice modern full kitchen. Easy access to the valley (15-20 minutes).

Loved cabin in Forests!

We loved the convenience of being within the park combined with the ability to get away from the crowds. The private niche of Foresta with quaint cabins and solitude was a gem for us. Just down the dirt road from our cabin was a beautiful waterfall that was fun to walk to. The cabin was very clean, comfortable, kitchen well stocked, it is not “fancy” by extremely comfortable.

Serene and Close to Park

We loved staying here. We were barely 20 minutes from Yosemite valley. As Half Dome hikers, this was a critical part of our day. And every day we got home from epic hikes to a quiet, serene home, with birds chirping while we ate dinner on the screened in porch. The home was very equipped for longer stays and we enjoyed everyday. Highly recommend and hope to be back!

Nice Cabin Great Location

My wife and I loved staying at this cabin within Yosemite. It's centrally located between Tiago Pass, Yosemite Valley and Mariposa. We visited each in that order and had an amazing vacation. The cabin is very spacious for two and the kitchen and screened in porch are as well; made use of both during our stay. Parking is super close to the door which made unloading / loading a breeze.

Great private cabin

We stocked up on groceries and stayed here 6 nights end of July. We loved the privacy and e had while still being in the park a short drive to all the hikes we knocked out while here. We had everything we needed, clean, great location to park trailheads, grill, and just passed the house is a river to cool off in! Would highly recommend! The directions are easy to follow and Annie was responsive via text

Great being inside the park.

It was great being inside the park and near the valley. Initially, the location was challenging to find, but the rustic cabin was nice. My only issues were the cleanliness of the property and that only one small a/c unit was available in the living area, which made the bedroom very warm.
