“The location of this property could not be better. The neighborhood and the proximity made to stay very worthwhile. That said, the air conditioning was not working, the washer and dryers were not working, and the air hockey in the rec room was not working. Not all the windows had screens in the sliding door to the deck also had a broken screen. With temperatures up to 97°F in the day, we needed to keep as many windows and doors open at night to have a reasonable temperature and lack of screens...

“Pretty much everything about this house was perfect. The only small question i have is about the nonexistent AC. “We stayed at this property with our adult children during a family vacation. It was clean and comfortable, and it was great to be able to stay inside the park. A couple of things we weren’t aware of (these did not impact my rating, just FYI for others). The property is around 2000 ft higher than Yosemite Valley, which means more snow in winter/spring. We were unable to get one of our cars up the driveway during a late winter storm. It is steep and has a hole at the bottom, which made traction...

“We were excited to go to this cabin, our first,(but not last) stay at Yosemite NP.It was easy to check in and find our cabin, and the cabin was just perfect! Cute as it could be and very clean and comfortable. The deck surrounding the cabin is quite extensive and allows a very nice view of the expansive meadow. We certainly enjoyed our stay and won't hesitate to book this cabin again!”

“Cabin #78 was cozy with privacy and bathroom for each bedroom. Setting in forest is beautiful. Well stocked EXCEPT no shampoo/conditioner nor hairdryer. TV with Roku and DISH. Needs a cupboard space for food so not having it on counters or mudroom. Perfect to explore Mariposa grove. About hour, windy drive to Yosemite Valley. Small grocery store. “Got a call approx 2 weeks before visit stating the house we chose needed repairs due to storm damage & offered us a different house upon our approval. I called next day & said the house was acceptable to us. Never heard from them again. When we arrived, our packet had the original house number on it. So we went there & that's where we stayed. No one ever notified us that our original house choice was now available & that's where we were staying. Probably will never use Redwoods in Yosemite...

“The cabin we stayed in was neat, clean, notable for the absence of any critters at all inside the cabin. The kitchen area allows only one person at a time, but a fair trade-off for the setting.
