“The customer service was absolutely outstanding. They front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Siao Chou (小周) and Ting Ting (亭亭). They went out of their way to provide us with specific information about local tourist destinations and how to navigate the city. Our Guilin visit went well because of them. The only issue we had was the hotel only had one washer and dryer. They were mostly occupied during early morning and night. ”

In addition the hotel also offers a generous breakfast buffet. The hotel’s interior is modern and cozy, but as the price can tell it is a budget hotel so cannot expect a 5 star standard. “We had an amazing stay at the Secret Courtyard Hotel. A lovely neighbourhood with friendly and helpful staff. Food was delicious and the hotel had a calm atmosphere. Walking distance to the reed flute cave, and easy to take a taxi to city center. I can't recommend it enough. ”
