Höstresa
Bästa hotellet i Zadar enligt de taxichaufförer vi åkte med. Blev förresten lurad att betala för mycket för taxiresa från flygplatsen till hotellet. Efter detta fick vi reda på att det bästa var att boka taxi genom hotellet. Vår vistelse i Zadar och hotell Falkensteiner var annars helt magisk. Väldigt fint hotell och härligt hotellkök. Väderrapporterna utvisade regn just våra dagar men det blev sol två dagar av tre och det var underbart att solbada på hotellområdet och vi badade t o m flera gånger i havet.

Perfekt plats för en paus
Ett väldigt fräscht internationellt hotell för den som vill komma undan den vanliga världen en stund. Modernt, fantastisk service, god mat, underbart spa, vackert läge ute på en udde med hav. Öar och berg som fond. Min man och jag ville vara för oss själva några dagar och kunde inte ha valt en bättre plats, vi hamnade i en oas där vi verkligen kunde koppla av och njuta. Vi landade mkt sent, och taxin hotellet fixat till ett bra pris väntade på plats (det ligger någon mil norr om Zadar). Eftersom det var vår bröllopsdag hade personalen dekorerat vårt rum med rosenblad! Frukosten är överdådig och dagens bästa mål. Personalen var både vänlig, aktiv och personlig - vågade skämta och höll en mycket bra ton, måste vara Kroatiens mest professionella personal. Hit återvänder vi gärna igen!

Sehr sauber. Tolles und aufmerksames Personal. Schönes Zimmer mit Meerblick. Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen. Pool hätte einen Tick wärmer sein dürfen. Whirlpool leider nicht nutzbar, da dieser ausgebessert werden musste. Dies hätte drei Tage andauern sollen, leider war der Whirlpool am 5 Tag immer noch nicht nutzbar.

This was meant to be a treat for tired, sore back travelers, advertised as a luxury spa resort.It failed.The booking made on Expedia website clearly stated 2 separate beds. The hotel claimed they did not receive the exact information. They tried to be somewhat accommodating and made a bed out of 2 couches. The arrangement did not work well as the couches moved at night and were uncomfortable. If you cannot sleep well, relaxation is gone. The spa was mostly nude and for unaccompanied women, quite uncomfortable. It has saunas, cooling and warming small pools. No real hot tub or jets. Had a massage session at US hotel prices. The masseuse was good , however did not ask about any medical conditions or precautions. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The pizza place provided an undercooked crust average pie. The other restaurants were good, not excellent.The indoor/outdoor pools are nice. The beach is just a shoreline, not the most picturesque or particularly well maintained. Can do much better in other areas of Croatia. The property is isolated. Some neglected lots are in the vicinity as well as some ugly, hopefully administrative buildings.Not much else to do nearby. Overall, I’d say it is a 3-4 star resort ( 3 for poor sleeping arrangements), overpriced for Croatia and service provided. Does not give you the flavor of that Country, nor is it the luxury resort it claims to be. Ok for a short conference if you don’t care about the location and don’t need the not bed sofa!

Very nice - a relaxing stay
Our visit was mid September. The landscaping on the run up to the hotel was worryingly poor and the buildings that we passed looked like they were from the Soviet era. However, once you get into the hotel, all of that is forgotten. Parking is quite expensive. The restaurants are good. Room decor has a few bumps and scratches but overall good. One fantastic feature is that there are loungers positioned on the private beach that are readily available, many in shady spots under the trees. And in the two shoreline restaurants you can eat literally 20 feet from the ocean. We had a lovely stay and would not hesitate to return. However, the hotel would be wise to improve its landscaping towards its vehicular entrance. You don't get a second chance to make a first impression.

Insgesamt eine tolle Außenanlagen die keine Wünsche übrig lässt. Das Falkensteiner Iadera Hotel ***** ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, meiner Meinung nach entspricht es eher einem soliden **** Hotel und nicht *****. Die Zimmer sollten in den kommen Jahren renoviert werden, schon jetzt ist das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis was das Hotel angeht grenzwertig. Dennoch muss ich nochmal die Außenanlagen loben mit Privatstrand, das gibt es nicht oft. Insgesamt war es ein guter Urluab.

It’s a beautiful resort with amazing facilities. The gyms are really great! The vistas are unbelievable and it was easy to park and drive to visit locations around us The front desk staff was not very knowledgeable or informative. We had to discover many of the amenities on our own. Highly recommend this resort overall

Good hotel with bad beds
Location is amazing, hotel and staff is nice. I was at this hotel few years after opening, at that time it was one of the best hotels in Croatia, sadly they didn’t update the equipment. TV is newish, very small and has no app support, syncing between TV and Mobile only as Mirrorcast for Android, no Apple TV+, or Chromecast. Biggest problem are beds, both beds in our room are worn out. Bed is no firm anymore and has a U form….not worthy the 5star rating of this hotel.

Schöne Anlage
Grundsätzlich ist das Hotel sehr in Ordnung. Die Sauberkeit könnte jedoch besser sein. Die Tische sind teilweise noch vom Vorabend verschmutzt bzw. steht da immer leeres Geschirr im Poolbereich. Die Wassertemperatur der Außenpools und im SPA Bereich könnte auch ein paar Grad mehr sein wenn ich das mit dem Hotel in Stegersbach vergleiche.

Das Hotel ist wirklich toll, bereits am Check In wird man herzlich begrüßt! Das Zimmer unheimlich geräumig und im Bad sogar mit Fußbodenheizung. Die Lage vom Hotel, sowie das Falkenstein Resort sind wunderbar. Am Pool und Strand findet man ausreichend Liegestühle. Wirklich fantastisch ist das Frühstück, lässt keinerlei Wünsche offen und ist qualitativ sehr hochwertig. Buffet am Abend kostet 55€/pro Person und die Getränke im Hotel erfüllen ein mittleres bis hohes Preisniveau. Late Check out wenn Verfügbar, gegen eine zusätzliche Gebühr möglich. Ansonsten besteht die Option sein Gepäck zu deponieren und im Spa Bereich nochmal zu duschen. Fahrt von/bis Flughafen Zadar ca. 30-40min und Taxikosten liegen bei 48€ pro Strecke Ich war geschäftlich unterwegs und würde jeder Zeit wieder in dieses Hotel gehen!

A luxurious and relaxing hotel
A comfortable and relaxing hotel in a large resort style environment. Facilities were excellent, the staff were generally attentive and the ambience was warm and welcoming. The dining options were good and the Tian Vegetarian restaurant was superb. The spas were beautiful, the gardens well kept and the beach was peaceful.

V nice resort. Excellent facilities and location. I had minor issues like leaky toilet, cold tap that wouldn’t turn off easily, locker that wouldn’t lock in the spa ( which irritated me somewhat )and my front room door opening every time I open the balcony door. Getting my spa booking completely wrong on my last day after changing late check out on the last day short notice makes me see the level of staff competency in their roles and command of English various from great to poor. That’s got to improve when you are punching at 5 star level.

Eines der besten Hotels in denen wir jemals waren! Lage, Ausstattung, Personal, Innen- und Außenpoosl, Wellnessbereich, Essen, alles einfach perfekt. Ein wahres 5* Hotel. Die Zimmer sind super und die Anlage ein Traum. Wir waren das dritte Mal da dieses Mal für 8 Tage und haben jede Sekunde genossen. Das beste an allem sind aber die Mitarbeiter, die so unglaublich nett sind und einem jeden Wunsch von den Lippen ablesen. Wir können hier nur einige nennen: der professionelle Simon (Rezeption), der legendäre Carlos (Pool Bar), der beste Bar Chef Angelo (Bar), die freundliche Katharina (Restaurant), der beste Weinkenner Charlie (Abendessen).... alle sind einfach nicht zu übertreffen. Wir werden immer wieder kommen. Vielen Dank an alle! Michael

Das Areal des Hotels ist wunderschön. Es gibt zahlreiche Angebote für Aktivitäten im Bereich Unterhaltung und Sport. Der Wellnessbereich ist traumhaft mystisch, schön und ruhig. Am Strand entlang führt ein romatischer Steinweg zwischen Bäumen zum Spazieren. Das Personal ist äußerst nett und hilfsbereit.
