We were apprehensive at first to share a community fire pit and have close neighbors, but we met some great people and surprised ourselves with how much we enjoyed the experience. “I was in Ohio for a family reunion. The puppy could not stay at the lodge at Salt Fork, so I decided to stay at the cabin. I am easily overwhelmed by people and family is not excluded! Retreating to the cabin allowed me the serenity I needed.My only dislike were the unpaved roads. My car sits very low to the ground and the gravel did a number under my car. ”

As history nerds the background and buildings were fascinating to learn about. The hosts were so welcoming and made us feel right at home.
