Slott i Zanzibar Town

“Great location! Nice and old in a good way. Nice rooms. Just one thing, extremely hard beds.”

Njutbart”

“Very friendly staff. Typical Zanzibar decorated rooms. Elevator available. Good breakfast and walking distance to many places in Stone Town.”

“Staff was friendly, the food was okay, besides the ceasar salad that was sub par. Hotel shop had expired products (should really review the stock) bought a pepsi that was expired 6 months ago. The pool area was nice, but the water in the pool felt dirty, even though just being cleaned. Would also be transparant to mention that the hotel is just NeXT to a mosque, that kept us awake all night due to non stop activity. ”

“I'm a solo female traveler and I only stayed for one night, I would recommend staying here. The staff was incredibly nice. I had a late flight they let me to check out late with no extra cost they can help me find a guide to show me around town all around great stay”

“Originally the building served as a residence for the last Swahili king and you can feel the atmosphere in this extraordinary hotel, perfectly located in the middle of Stone Town. Rooms are like suites and uniquely designed. Staff are very service minded and the restaurant on the roof top serves a unique and very well tasting fixed menu every night in an open air space. Both rates and price for 5 course dinner (40 USD) is very competitive in relation to what you get.”

“Several different location of where rooms are located. We stayed 100 m from main hotel reception. Room we stayed in was spacious including the bathroom. Best buffé breakfast with many options.”

“Not too far from Stonetown. Good for value. Construction next door made balcony view undesirable. Overall would stay again.”
