Where do i start.....

So,the hotel was alright,kind of run down. We kept running into problems. No internet. The pull out couch was by far thee most uncomfortable thing ever. I ended up sleeping in my car the first night. It has to be atlest 70 years old. The bed was covered in a plastic topper under the sheet,really? Definitely would not recommend unless the owners realize the comfort is zero out of ten. I did really like the seclusion though. Oh and 2am got woken up by a huge black bear right next to my car tearing up the garbage cans lol

Hope you enjoy the dark ages! The bed was lumpy, the pictures made the place look much larger than it actually was… there was no view of the ocean AT ALL! The appliances were outdated, there was a “cleaning fee for the hot tub”, which makes you think there is a hot tub… but there isn’t! Oh, and there is no t.v. (Which wasn’t at that bad), but additionally there is no wi-if, and almost no cell service, which really sucked trying to listen to music and play card games. The sheets were “meh”and did I mention the bed was lumpy!!! We almost got a hotel room for the second night just to not stay in the condo the second night. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

We had an enjoyable stay but want to mention a few things about our accommodations. The condo was advertised as "beachfront" and "beach view." We had to walk 3 blocks to get to the beach and couldn't see or hear the water. It was fine, just not as advertised. There were lipstick marks on the glasses and no dishwashing detergent although the condo was advertised as having a dishwasher. The condo was also advertised as having a flat screen tv. There was a small tv but no cable and no wifi to use the tv.

A last resort when no where else is available.

I come to ocean shores three to four times a year. This is the first time ive stayed here The description in hotels.com does not let you know all details of this property until you reserve the room, then an out side management team calls you with a contract that states all the rules of the property. You cannot cancel for refund so youre stuck staying there. In the room theres a router for wifi but after attempting to sign on to it you will never get a signal. Emailed the host and was responded back with, there is no internet,but internet equipment is there? Mold on the ceiling. Very disappointed with the property and the lack of amenities and the fact that no where states you need to totally clean the room before reservation is made. Youre better off staying elsewhere.

Falsely Advertised Hovel

Booked the "Deluxe Family Condo with Ocean View", it was DIRTY (the bed, floor was gritty, the bed's blanket had WHITE stains on it) It was DARK (only 1 bulb in hall and living space overhead lighting worked, no bedside reading lamps, some bulbs installed were dangerously incorrect for the fixtures wattage and flickered) The bottom floor was view was of shrubs. The BUILDING WASN'T THE SAME one as in the pictures, let alone the "Condo." I contacted management and was told they'd address issues after we left, in a several days. Also, NO WIFI, which also means NO TV to relax with. This was for our honeymoon, I'm not trying to catch bedbugs and pink eye. We stayed elsewhere, Bayvue Hotel, Resort and Suites was great (big rooms, pool, great breakfast included). Ocean Shores and Hotels.com refused my refund for the issues above, we never stayed there. Ocean Shores "Condos" are unclean, false advertisers, I've never felt so swindled. Stay elsewhere, anywhere else.

Relaxing but not quite hassle-free

Relaxing and quiet. Cat urine smell in bedroom is not pleasant. There was no ocean view, unlike the advertisement and check-in sheet. There are additional unexplained charges on my account that were not confirmed nor agreed upon.

This property was extremely comfortable. We would suggest updating the wifi (it didn't connect) & a different TV/cable set up (no channels available). Everything was clean, except for the shower curtain (showed signs of mold). I would suggest others bring a hotspot if you plan staying in.

So bad we moved to a motel down the road

Long story short- we ended up renting another room for the duration of our vacation. NO INTERNET or cable. Advertised for cable and wifi, given a password for wifi yet no internet. Called, left messages, sent electronic messages- no response. Poor, poor customer service- wait, no customer service. Even now that we're back home.....nothing. Zip, zilch. I need internet for work but apparently nobody else cares about that. Except maybe my patients when they don't get a timely response. Not the cleanest place either but comfortable enough. A little smelly, dusty. Definitely needs some new kithen wares- melted rubber on the pans and tiny skillets which made cooking a longer process. Oh, did I mention no beach view? Nope, lied about this too. Had a nice view of a mud puddle which, after days of rain almost could have been a tiny pond but definitely not the beach. Good points- Check in was easy and self serve, although the 7 pages of rules emailed were excessive. Don't rent here. It's a mistake.

Very disappointed because we weren’t able to access the condo so can’t speak to other aspects of the property. We arrived at night & had been sent the wrong instructions for opening the real estate key box on the door. Office was closed & left messages at 2 different after-hours numbers, but no one called us back. Had to rent another room at a nearby property. No acknowledgment of their mistake & no refund either. Cannot recommend.

Not a great place. Take your business other places. Go here if everywhere else is booked. Don’t let the price or the photos fool you. TV doesn’t work. No WIFI anywhere on the property. They sent me a pdf with a passcode to use the WIFI. When I called, they said no. iPhone captures a very poor signal inside the building. Not enough to use the internet. Expect to live off the grid while you’re there. The furnishing is old, and the place has a strong stench to it. Do your research before coming here (reviews from different sources, not just Expedia). The managers have short fuses and if they feel like you should know better or if you have any sort of complaint, they’ll raise their voices at you and even scold you. Very toxic. They refuse to have someone speak to them on your behalf, which is sad because English is my second language and I have difficulty expressing my emotions when dealing with frustration. There is NO ocean view or beach front view. Just a bunch of tall weeds near the road. The walkway is poorly kept and maintained. If it is raining, and you live on the ground floor, water from the top floor while be dripping hard over you if you are not careful walking out. The place itself is dark and gloomy, and can be intimidating if you’re there by yourself, without any company. You've been warned.

No one is physically on the property to help. My bedroom window was nailed shut, so no air ventilation. The main slider had no screen and the lock was broken. It was a very quiet unit. The brush is overgrown, so no ocean view.
