“The toilet was so high up i couldn't do a sh*t. I'm six foot tall, but when I was sat on the toilet my feet were not touching the ground. Overall, the place was pretty bleak, e.g. no mirror in the bedroom to check my outfit, only one pillow so I got neck ache in bed, no towel rail or hooks anywhere in the bathroom so couldn't hang up a towel, no hook in the bedroom to hang up a coat, no toilet roll holder. “Served as a nice base for our visit to Edinburgh and area. The house was comfortable & well equipped. The location was convenient to the highway, grocery stores & a nice local pub/restaurant. The host was responsive & even offered us use of the garage to store our golf clubs.”

“While our stay was enjoyable and met our needs, the unethical practice of claiming damages after leaving soured our whole experience. I was sent pictures of supposed damages to a mattress where there was a water spot about 6" in diameter and the owner claimed the entire bed was soaked, needed professional cleaning. It just simply didn't happen. I found out about the charges after I got home. Anyone considering staying here, beware.”

“Overall the property was good but some things to note. 1. Hot water wasn’t working when we arrived. They had someone over within 2 hours to check it, and did end up fixing it within about 4 hours, it was frustrating after a long travel day. 2. The mattress was not very good and the bedding looked run down. 3. There is a little patio type thing that could be accessed by the bedroom, however the furniture out there looked dirty and it didn’t appear it was cleaned at all ever. Should just remove...
