“Lovely setting by the sea and nice walks around the site. The floors could do with a bit of updating and extra seating for more than 4 guests but it was clean and tidy. The attention given by the host to make your stay comfortable was excellent any issue was swiftly dealt with.”

“We really enjoyed our stay in the Shepherds Hut and the views were amazing. The only disappointment was that there was no welcome pack providing instruction on how things worked. There was also no telephone contact details in case of any issues,etc. When we arrived there was not hot water and it was only by trial and error that we managed to find out that the gas bottle was empty, luckily the other bottle was full and I was aware how to manually change them over. “Served as a nice base for our visit to Edinburgh and area. The house was comfortable & well equipped. The location was convenient to the highway, grocery stores & a nice local pub/restaurant. The host was responsive & even offered us use of the garage to store our golf clubs.”

“Overall the property was good but some things to note. 1. Hot water wasn’t working when we arrived. They had someone over within 2 hours to check it, and did end up fixing it within about 4 hours, it was frustrating after a long travel day. 2. The mattress was not very good and the bedding looked run down. 3.
