“Het huis ligt in een rustige straat, parkeren lukte goed in de nabije omgeving. Het is vlakbij het strand, waar wat eet en drinktentjes zijn. Ook vlakbij de High Street met winkels, supermarkten, restaurants en de bushalte. Prima verbinding naar Edinburgh (30-40 min). Het huis is geweldig met een grote keuken voorzien van alles dat je nodig hebt, een gezellige zitkamer en 4 ruime slaapkamers en 2 badkamers. Er is ook een tuin met een lounge set en middag zon.Kortom top locatie en top huis!”

“My wife and I enjoyed our stay here! The room is basic but equipped with all the essentials (private entrance, private bathroom, kitchen sink, and fridge). It’s perfect for use as a home base while spending your days out and about. It is very close to a bus stop, about a 4 min walk, which gives easy connection to the rest of the city. The family is very quiet and we were not disturbed at all during our stay. ”

“The property was clean and pretty much as advertised. Note there are not four queen size beds but 2. The cutlery could do with being changed too as it is cheap and not fit for purpose.”

“All was great. This is a working stable with horses and those many that have to care for horses, plus at least one friendly dog. You felt welcomed and that was appreciated. With a 15 minute drive you are in North Berwick and so close to John Muir park and Seacliff. Seacliff is special. The only, and minor, negative was that it was not a peaceful place when we were there- lots of tree trimming (Chain saw) and chipping- so very noisy at times. I would guess this is a rare event and suggested to...

“Beyond our wildest expectations. This home is charming, warm, easy to relax, and a perfect place to use as a base camp for exploring a wonderful city. The location is hard to over hype, as you are staying in the entrance to the wonderful park on one side, and the city on the other. The host was tremendous to work with, and made out stay so incredibly easy and comfortable. Would recommend to anyone looking for a place in Edinburgh. ”

“Had everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Fully kitted kitchen and washer dryer for self catering. Very clean and well kept property. 10 min walk to train to the city and 13 min train ride. Shops close by. Very happy with stay. A few more towels would have been nice but we made do, so no complaints.”

“Great communication with the owner. Enogh parking for two cars. House exceeded our expectations, everything spotless, much bigger than looks on the pictures. Great having extras like dishwasher tablets, tinfoil ect. The garden was great, we enjoyed the summerhouse too. Then just through the gate onto the beach. Just perfect. We definitely hope to return.”

“Every person enjoys their own bedroom/bathroom. Nice sitting area with a functional kitchen. Owner provided many adapters for those who forgot. Easy walking to the Royal Mile and the Edinburgh Castle. Pretty quiet street - didn’t bother the persons in the front bedrooms. ”

"Jag bodde här en vecka med sambo och 16-årig dotter. Fantastiskt rum, rymligt, rent och tyst. Både dusch och badkar i badrummet. Trevlig personal. Vi åt aldrig i restaurangen, så kan inte uttala mig om den - men hotellet ligger väldigt centralt, 10 minuter från spårvagnen till flygplatsen och på gångavstånd till hela Old Town/Gräsmarker och med fantastiska Calton Hill runt hörnet."

"Härligt nyöppnat hotell. Tysta rum och trevlig lobby, om än lite kall! Ac gick för full maskin. Ligger utanför de mest befolkade turiststråken vilket vi uppskattade, tog 20 min att gå till royal mile och det fanns mycket att titta på på vägen. Observera att en deposition på 100 pund (kanske olika för olika längd på vistelse), men kan vara bra att veta. Allt var toppen, personalen trevlig, sängarna bekväma och allt nytt och fräscht! "

"Stannade där 2 nätter. Rummet hade inte mycket plats för avlastning av saker. Kändes som om de körde minimalt på allt. Frukosten var väldigt snålt. Restaurangen sköttes av 3 inte så serviceminded män. 1 ointresserad, 1 genomsvettig i sin egen värld och 1 som bara var ute efter att plocka folks tallrikar även om de inte var klara med den snåla minimala frukosten. Det drog ner betyget på hotellet ännu mer. Kommer inte välja det hotellet igen. Enda positiva var fri parkering och att det gick att öppna fönstret i rummet. "
