“The toilet was so high up i couldn't do a sh*t. I'm six foot tall, but when I was sat on the toilet my feet were not touching the ground. Overall, the place was pretty bleak, e.g. no mirror in the bedroom to check my outfit, only one pillow so I got neck ache in bed, no towel rail or hooks anywhere in the bathroom so couldn't hang up a towel, no hook in the bedroom to hang up a coat, no toilet roll holder. "Fräscht, bra läge. Bra frukost. Personalen super. Problem att öppna rumsdörren, tekniskt fel. Fick byta till ett större och fick två fria dryck i restaurangen som kompensation."

"Perfekt läge, nära till allt. Fina rum med skön säng, bra produkter, dyson hårtork, plattång, steamer, morgonrock, tofflor, fri minibar som fylldes på varje dag. Jättebra frukost på våning 7 med fin utsikt, champagne vid incheckning och champagnebar på kvällen med ostron uppskattades."

"On the pro side: - Central location with walking distance to most things (princes street gardens is 10 mins by foot, Edinburgh castle you can see from the window) - Better than average breakfast, with options to order complimentary egg benedict, porridge etc and a well assorted buffet - Hotel itself was ok quiet... but (read the con) - Staff was ok, especially a guy named Alex at the breakfast tables who took orders - Some ok restaurants in the vicinity (though not fine dining), loads of pubs of course. - Check-in was ok, there's a self-service option too - Bussline 2 stops just outside Cons: - Grassmarket square can be noisy and the less-than-great quality of windows means you hear everything on the street. World championships in football (soccer) was going on which meant busy and noisy bars (incl singing scots) until 03:00 in the morning. - Cleanliness is so and so, was dried up urine just below/behind the toiletseat. - Stairs up to the reception, means if got toddlers and a stroller you need to traverse these. - Tram from airport doesn't go near hotel (you'll need to change downtown or take a taxi) - It's family friendly 'ish. - Bathtubs (at least in the room we stayed in) are missing anti-slip, ie be careful when entering and exiting to take a shower - The sink in the bathroom is placed at a low height (like children's height), which is uncomfortable if you 180 cm tall (short) and was your hands or shave. - Hotel feels a little run down."

"En riktigt trevlig hotellupplevelse! Personalen var varm och hjälpsam genom hela vistelsen. Läget är perfekt, centralt beläget med nära till allt Edinburgh har att erbjuda. Frukosten var oxå bra. Trots det livliga området utanför var rummen tysta, inga störande ljud inifrån. Kan varmt rekommendera detta hotell till alla som besöker Edinburgh!"
