“The colour scheme is a bit of a shock at first but it does grow on you. The kitchen is well appointed but unfortunately no microwave. Because the kitchen/dining area/ lounge are all in one room it is not that easy to relax. The bedroom is up a steep set of stairs and my husband who is quite tall , did have to be extra vigilant getting out of bed to stop himself banging his head on the roof! The bed was very comfortable. A nice cottage .”

“I really loved the room on the top floor facing Dover Castle. It was like having a wonderful piece of art just outside the window. I also loved the whiteness and the minimalistic interiors of the place. I used the kitchenette and it was totally fine except from the fridge which was so cold my fresh vegetables froze. I stayed for 5 nights and the only really downsides of the place was that the toilets were not being cleaned for several days. The owners were also very slow in responding to...

“This home is lovely, clean and comfortable. I would recommend this space to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. A few words of warning however. First of all the driveway is on an incline and covered in deep, loose gravel. Our car got stuck and we had to call a tow truck to get us out. The tow truck driver informed us that he'd been to this property several times because of the poor conditions of the driveway. I strongly recommend parking at the base of the property and just hike your luggage...

“Overall great value for money accommodation! Quite central to Bristol and the area around has a lot of shops and places to eat very lively atmosphere with students etc. The communication was excellent and staff were attentive. House is nice, quite basic inside, and a little run down but clean and no safety concerns. Parking is limited to paid on the street, and it's a busy area with a fair bit of road noise all night due to single pane windows. But overall good and well organised letting company...
