“We had a lovely relaxing stay at a fantastic property in a beautiful part of the world. Staff were very friendly and helpful, room was very spacious and beautifully decorated with a small patio outside to chill. Food was great and we will certainly be returning.”

“I really loved the room on the top floor facing Dover Castle. It was like having a wonderful piece of art just outside the window. I also loved the whiteness and the minimalistic interiors of the place. I used the kitchenette and it was totally fine except from the fridge which was so cold my fresh vegetables froze. When I explained the situation he didn’t care and he still charged me!! I spent 3 hours in Waverley station looking for an Edinburgh hotel at twice the cost and now I need to make a claim to get my money back”

“Overall great value for money accommodation! Quite central to Bristol and the area around has a lot of shops and places to eat very lively atmosphere with students etc. The communication was excellent and staff were attentive. House is nice, quite basic inside, and a little run down but clean and no safety concerns. Parking is limited to paid on the street, and it's a busy area with a fair bit of road noise all night due to single pane windows. But overall good and well organised letting company...

“Fantastic experience overall. Stellar room, clean facilities, excellent breakfast menu options, and a friendly and helpful staff. There does appear to be challenges for people with disabilities given the stairs involved. The Art House and other lodgings are located on a fairly steep hill, which could be problematic if someone is not prepared for that. I would recommend the host communicating directly through my personal email rather than Expedia.”

“The colour scheme is a bit of a shock at first but it does grow on you. The kitchen is well appointed but unfortunately no microwave. Because the kitchen/dining area/ lounge are all in one room it is not that easy to relax. The bedroom is up a steep set of stairs and my husband who is quite tall , did have to be extra vigilant getting out of bed to stop himself banging his head on the roof! The bed was very comfortable. A nice cottage .”
