  • La Tortuga # 4 ligger på den andra nivån (ovanför bottenvåningen) med utsikt över poolen och det glittrande vattnet i Akumal Half Moon Bay utanför! Detta rymliga och vackert inredda lägenhet har 2 sovrum med king size-säng och eget badrum med dusch och trevlig mexikanska kakel detalj. Det stora sovrummet har också en gigantisk nedsänkt badkar. Den har en stor öppen planlösning och matplats med skjutreglage som öppnas ut mot terrassen, ger fantastisk utsikt ut över bukten. I vardagsrummet finns bekväma sittplatser och en TV med satellit-programmering. Köket är välutrustat och inkluderar en bardisk för extra matplats. Det finns trådlöst internet i hela lägenheten och luftkonditionering i sovrummen.


    Utanför på terrassen som sträcker sig över bredden av kondom, är hängmattor för slummer i varma Karibiska bris!


    Hacienda de La Tortuga har en mycket trevlig strand sida pool, en plats gourmetrestaurang (La Lunita), och massor av solstolar och skumma palapas på den vita sandstranden framför. Det finns också WiFi hela vägen ut till stranden för dem som vill hålla kontakten medan du arbetar på sin solbränna!

    Hacienda de la Tortuga ligger i norra centrala delen av Half Moon Bay, inom gångavstånd från massor av bekvämligheter, inklusive Akumal Adventures Dyk butiken. Bukten framför lägenheten är perfekt för snorkling som revet kommer mycket nära till stranden, och det är hem för en mångfald av marint liv inklusive utrotningshotade havssköldpaddor!

Cleaners came every day and freshened up the beds are massive and really comfortable. The restaurant downstairs is really good and the staff super cool. The reef directly outside is fantastic for snorkelling and swimming. We LOVED it and will definitely go back again.

You won’t regret your stay.

The condo was beautiful and the kitchen was well stocked! Our baby loved the foot bath as a splash pad. But the people of the complex really made our stay special! Not mentioned in the listing but there is also an incredible restaurant attached to the condo and a coffee shop across the street. Great location!

The property is well-maintained with upgraded beds, linens and wiwfi. The pool is a important asset to have with small children, and the direct beach access is a lifesafer! The staff at La Lunita are always super-helpful! Additionally, there are a few new restaurants and amenities (since our last visit) on Half-Moon Bay that are a wonderful addition!

The location's good, with a cafe across the road and the on-site restaurant, small local shop nearby and more if walk/drive/take the collective into Akumal village. With the beach and bay outside (you need water shoes if you're going to sea swim), you're petty set for a good, quiet vacation. If you need to work/play, the Internet speed's good which we find essential as we work for ourselves. All in all, a good stay.

The town has changed a bit but the incredible service from Akumal Direct/Loco ****** remains the same. We were very pleased with the condo and the personal service. Condo was clean and well-laid out. Pool was sparkling and the beach was cleaned each morning. The entire team at Hacienda de la Tortuga was very kind and helpful. La Lunita food is even better than I remember and the "new to me" cafe across the street is great.

Great stay at condo!

We had a great stay at the condo, my husband and I and another couple stayed for 9 days. Half Moon Bay is a quiet location, Akumal Bay is much more active/crowded, so depends on what type of stay you're looking for. The restaurant in the condo complex is very good. The Akumal Direct concierge, David, was extremely helpful, both before and during our stay. He arranged our shuttle from to and from the airport, a golf cart rental, a cenote excursion and a taxi to Playa for a shopping day. The sargassum grass was definitely prevalent, but it wasn't terrible in front of this condo. It was much worse on the south part of the bay. We were able to snorkel directly in front of the condo.

We ate there almost every day not because it was convenient, but because it was the best. The pool was wonderful, the location was quiet, and they did a commendable job battling the seaweed. The seaweed was a shame, and the floor under the ocean was a bit rocky, but that is true in the entire general area. We did have to move to a different unit halfway through our stay because they had to do some repairs, but they were very helpful, apologetic, and accommodating. All in all, it was a very restful and wonderful place to stay.

The location is ideal, on the bay and away from the touristy part of Akumal and close to Yal-Ku. Our new find was The Jungla Cafe literally across the road--excellent for breakfast. Best cappuccino ever! Also appreciate having La Lunita downstairs. The unit was in excellent shape. If you wanted to make an improvement, we'd suggest a ceiling fan on the balcony. Appreciated the flexibility of the housekeeper. Tiny suggestion--put a sign over the toilet paper to remind people to use the wastebasket.

Sometimes we felt like we had our own private beach. Someone came and cleaned daily, and the parking lot attendants were very helpful as well. The only thing I would have liked more is if there were some sort of laundry service, but I took my laundry to the pueblo and got it washed there which was easy enough with a car. The AC in the bedrooms work great. Unfortunately there is no AC in the main part but the ceiling fans worked well and even in July it wasn't too hot to spend time there. Also, I felt very safe the entire time with my two kids. All in all... great stay! Thank you!

We had everything we needed and the hosts were at hand to help within minutes of any queries or questions we had. The location is amazing, first floor, high ceilings, light and spacious open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area looking on to the balcony over looking the pool, facing the beach.Light beaming across the whole apartment as windows & patio run the full width of the building.Both bedrooms were really well presented, the bed in the master was amazing - I had the best nights sleep and made a point of telling everyone how I dreamt every night I slept there whilst on my holiday. The kitchen was equipped with everything you could need including a welcome tray upon arrival. Housekeeping service was spot on and very thorough. We couldn’t have wished for a more chilled/ relaxing time whilst in Akumal. Thank you

We had stayed in this complex on our first visit to Akumal 22 years ago and little had changed. The unit was clean and spacious. The daily housekeeping service was a welcome treat. My husband and I enjoyed sitting on the patio overlooking the pool and ocean each evening. During the day, we could always find a place on the beach to relax and enjoy snorkeling and lying in the sun. We walked into the main part of Akumal each morning and evening for breakfast and dinner and loved the food at each place we tried. We took an airport transfer to and from Akumal and had no need for a car during our stay. We snorkeled at Yal Ku Lagoon one morning because the winds were too strong on the ocean. We also went on a fishing excursion through The Akumal Dive Shop. My husband reeled in 5 fish and the ride was wonderful! We are looking forward to visiting Akumal again next year!

Nice condo next to the beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Had a great time with my family. 1st week beach almost without seaweed and 2nd week some seaweed but under control. Just take a short walk north direction to enter the sea without seaweed. Excellent snorkeling once you reach the coral in front of the condo. Calm and relax environnement. Explored kantun chi and aktun chen and was great. Yal ku was ok but better for snorkeling for free in front of the condo up to the reef. Condo verry well equiped. We enjoyed every moment. The next 2 to 3 next buildings more south on HMB there was to much seaweed.. avoid rental more south of Half moon bay on summer month, smell terrible and not possible to enter the ocean. As expected and better we also see 150 baby turtle go out of their nest. We were lucky because it does nt hapen ofter according the locals.

Stayed 14 nights in Hacienda de La Tortuga Unit 4. Unit was great, Ocean view is really great a little limited due to pool located in front of Condo. Unit could use more small cooking pots and serving dishes. Otherwise it is well equipped.Great restaurant Lunita on site. Close enough to walk to main Akumal beach and or rent a bike. YalKu Lagoon is worth a visit, snorkeling out front of Condo is excellent, we were able to see rays a small turtle and wonderful amounts of fish. Was extremally windy for 5 constant days, this brought in Sargassum weed, which was not removed by th time we left. which was disappointing. Really like Akumal for its quiet laid back vibe. would recommend.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the condo was very clean. All appliances were very clean.Beds in both rooms very comfortable. Pool was kept clean. Disappointed that outdoor pool/beach area seating was not in good shape and lounge chairs were just in a pile not put out for use. Two chairs where out at end of trip . All out door cushions are kinda dirty and funky after many times left out in sand & rain. Attached restaurant is EXTREMELY over priced and VERY limited menu most nights only one or two people used it. Could do much better with reasonable prices and more authentic menu. It cost more there for two appetizers and 3 margaritas then a whole meal with a lot more appetizers ,drinks and food for 5 people down the street! They made no effort to even make a small path to water through the sargassum:( Housekeeping staff did a great job. Also sorry me of the palm leafs could be removed so you could actually have a great view of ocean instead of peekaboo. If you people using the pool this condo is in a great spot directly over pool.Concierge service was accommodating & helpful in getting taxis and golf cart.

Quite and beautiful little town

Upon arrival I was in love with the location. You walk right out the door and you are on the beach. The house had everything that you will need for your stay. Housekeeping was super sweet they came every day to clean for us. The manager Roberto was very attentive to our questions about the little community that we were in. All of the locals that work and live there made our stay that much more special, we felt like we were at home. The local shops and food were great. We will be returning in the future and I would highly recommend this property to families.

Beautiful half moon bay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved this place. Setting on the beach is perfect and we were surrounded by turtle nests and even saw some hatch. A few restaurants in walking distance (very good restaurant underneath the apartment) but a golf buggy or car helps to get around. Sea and sand are beautiful but beware of sargasso problem some months. We walked up to the main beach which is very nice and where the seaweed was cleared. Denote/lagoon within 5 min walk was beautiful and not crowded. Apartment didn’t look very special from the outside but very nice inside and had everything needed for a great holiday. We would say this part of Akumel is for independent travellers who want to be away from all-inclusive resorts. We loved it for a week and then headed to Tulum for a contrast.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our condo was just perfect. Exactly what we needed for our family of 5. It was modern, up-to-date, extremely clean, and had all the amenities we needed for our 5-day stay. The A/C was as cold as you could want and all of the appliances were new and modern. The location could not have been better. We were literally 10 seconds from an awesome pool and 15 seconds from the beach (which was also very clean with plenty of chairs and sun shades). We were just a 2 - 3 minute golf cart ride from many restaurants (with amazing food!), retail shops, and dive shops (we had 2 great dives). I would highly recommend Akumal and this condo. We will be back.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Wow. I don't know where to start. Hacienda de la Tortuga is such a hidden gem. Beautiful beach-front access with the perfect pool for families. The onsite restaurant is an added perk! The unit #4 is clean, modern and updated. We also stated in #7 which is not quite as updated, but also just as nice. The bedrooms are spacious. The AC's work great! Full-kitchen for cooking at home. And, a great balcony view of the bay!
