“This is our second time staying with Tony in the beautiful villas there on the beach. We were also very lucky and watching the babyturtles hatch and get let down to the sea. “Not outstanding, just a fair place to stay. A 2 bed 2 bath condo is about the same price as this one bed, one bath suite after all the fees and taxes are added to the final cost. Unable to negotiate price per night with owner. Bed very comfortable, toilet needs fixed, maid service was excellent, kitchen offered the bare minimum utensils for making meals. “Initially, there was a little hiccup with my particular Villa, but the owner was very fast to help me feel better and happy. The place was very clean, very cozy, and I made so many friends with the local staff and especially everyone in the restaurant underneath the villa, La Lunita. It is outstanding! I plan to visit Hacienda de Tortuga again. ”

There were many disappointments and on their own it would not have been enough for us to seek another location but when we discovered the pool was closed we informed the owner of our disappointment and our intent to leave. “Very comfortable, great outdoor patio for morning coffee and dining and hanging out with awesome sunrises and ocean views. The pool and beach were steps away. Joan was very helpful in providing for our needs. There is 1 great little restaraunt a short walk but I would suggest having access to a car for groceries or other shopping or restaraunts or using a taxi service.”
