“We stayed here with our 13,11 and 2 yr old boys and everyone had the best time! The location of the tree house has complete privacy and is right on the River which was a huge added bonus. We are already talking about maybe coming back next year. Only “heads up” is the “kitchen” sink is more of a dribble so washing any dishes is a long process but… your in a treehouse ”

“We had a lovely stay at the Grape Escape. While it is truly roughing it, all our needs were met and the host was easy to contact if we needed anything. Hammondsport was an awesome town, with nice options for food, drinks, and vibes. Great food everywhere we tried, but Portside Bistro was our favorite. ”

Excellent high quality features and appliances throughout. Large spruce trees outside with bird feeders. Comfortable beds, easy climate control, convenient accessible washer/drier unit.Close enough (less than an hour) for a day trip to the fabulous town of Watkins Glen NY and State Park gorge are full of waterfalls.”

“Great area close to nearby essential if needed.Peaceful,good view of stars at night.Plenty of wood was cut and dry under some trees next to cabin to keep fire going.Pond has alot of frogs, kept daughter busy.Inside was clean and had fresh linens pillows and towels.Easy nights rest ! "The pool wasn’t working during our stay, but that wasn’t a priority for us. Everything else exceeded our expectations. The room was slightly larger than expected and felt newly renovated and fresh. The rest of the hotel also appeared recently updated and well-maintained. Breakfast wasn’t huge, but it offered more variety than we anticipated—especially compared to similar hotels in the same price range. We’d definitely recommend this place to anyone."
