“The room was clean and comfortable. However it was very difficult to operate the television. Parking was handy.”

“Breakfast Sunday AM was lacking GRAVY, Biscuits were cold rocks. Oatmeal could stand up and walk away, so thick. Eggs were a warm delight. Sausage was tasty but not worth mouthful of grease, ugh. Room cheerful, clean, with an easy operating thermostat. Soaps, shampoo, etc., easily reached. TV very simple to operate.”

“Refrigerator door stuck and difficult to open, room keys stopped working during stay and had to be recoded, vinyl floor (no carpeting) in room was not clean, heat lamp in bathroom was not working, bath tub handles leaking, and tried using sauna but it did not work.”

“The room was spacious and clean. There was a large fridge and there was AC, so important in this heat spell. The bathroom is small, the toilet was the smallest you could get in that space and the shower was stained. There was no breakfast. The restaurant is only open 4 days a week, and there is no restaurant open close by for breakfast or lunch. There were no staff on site.”

“The place was very well setup for cooking, comfortable for sleeping and really nice all around. Nice large TV (with ROKU) also. ”

“This was our second stay and it did not disappoint! The welcome basket was so sweet and she always leaves bowls out for our service dog. The place is clean and welcoming. We didn’t have time to use the hot tub but last time it was great! Deborah responded immediately to messages. I can’t say enough good about or experience. Lake view is wonderful and we walked down to the lake our first night there. Truly a blessing.”

“My husband, our puppers and I came to Alpena for the celebration of life ceremony for our grandma. The trip was last minute but the hosts made everything super convenient from our booking theough thw emd of our stay. Our drive up after work on Friday got us into Alpena after midnight so we were extremely grateful to find the kitchen was stocked with coffee, creamer and sugar. A godsend Saturday morning when we were scrambling to get dressed for the service. Our puppers was very comfortable in...
