“The house is beautiful and the front porch was my favorite! We had 6 people in 2 rooms. Each room is unique, but it was disappointing to find that one room in our party had a balcony and one did not, even though the price was the same. We were also very disappointed with the breakfast - it was like a basic hotel breakfast bar, but smaller and no hot foods - just cereal and pastries. “Nice old house. Good breakfast and service. The only bad thing was the squeaking pipes in the shower, it sounded like a fire alarm.”

“The room was very nice and clean! The only issues we had was the ac unit kept blowing cold air no matter if we turned it completely off and turned the temperature down, and the housekeeper coming into the unit while we were asleep on the 2nd day we were there, but other than that everything was perfect! All the sight seeing views were nearby, so we didn’t have to drive far at all.”

“The place is charming with high ceilings and big windows, and we even had a fireplace in the room. I am not sure if it works or if we were allowed to use it. it was summer anyway. However, there was no microwave in the room or the hotel as a whole, and there was no ice machine, the kind of things that you would need at a hotel. The hotel had a parking lot in the back, which is a great amenity when the hotel is in a kind of a busy area (not to say that anywhere in Clinton, MI is busy!)...

“This property is a dream, there are no words, it has everything. I only gave 4 stars on cleanliness because there were used coffee grounds left in the coffee maker when we arrived but no big deal. We moved the grill around to the patio outside the bedroom. Bugs outdoors were not a problem but I rented the 1st week in September with milder temps.
