“We stayed for 5 nights in Fell View. The house is conveniently located for day trips into the Lake district, and a 15 minute walk from the city centre. The interior of the house is lovingly decorated and very comfortable. we even enjoyed the garden as the weather was reasonable. Enjoyed our stay!”

“The property was just as described and as seen in the pictures. It was very well curated and clean with all the amenities you needed. It was a pleasure to look out of the window and see the lake right there and be able to walk and run from the door. We had come to relax, bike, walk some of Hadrian's wall, explore the area and to do lake swimming. (Unfortunately the country park had not yet opened the lake for this... however the water quality was not great for swimming if you are considering...

“We had a fantastic time at the barn, the owners Suzy and Jim are genuinely nice people, The barn is great, they left us a great welcoming hamper. My sons highlight for the whole trip was helping Suzy and Jim feeding there sheep, the hill behind the barn was a great place to watch the night sky ”

“Our stay at the New Inn 1730 was only overnight, and we arrived around 6pm on a Sunday evening. This is a welcoming & friendly pub, with restaurant and accommodation. The owner did his best to accommodate our needs during our short stay, and is still finding his feet a little having only recently taken on the business. Food options were limited when we arrived, particularly for our two fussy children, so we did eat elsewhere that night, but the cooked breakfast in the morning was very good,...

“Ideally located for Hadrian's Wall walkers and next to Milecastle Inn, we enjoyed one night's stay here. Very comfortable and we would probably choose to stay here for several nights if walking the national trail again. ”
