“Lovely accommodation, can't fault anything. Owners delightful.”

“The cottage was great everything you need, cosy, original features. Perfect for what we needed. Dog friendly. Fields opposite the cottage next to the watermill to walk the dog, great Rose & Crown pub”

“Property was excellent however had to chase the company for check in arrangements on both phone numbers provided.”

“Lovely cottage with the benefit of parking ima great central location.”

“Great base to explore the lakes”

“This is great accommodation, the host was so friendly and the communication was perfect too! Highly recommend staying here!”

“Unfortunately i was highly dissapointed ..it was supposed to be a treat for my birthday from my daughter who gave me some monies to treat myself to something i might like ... I decided on Whitby and booked with expeadia ..Unfortunately a double deluxe room.. Garden view was reserved for me which i have proof that this was booked via email but last minute on the day of arrival I was told that i was going to go into Wainwright and that a host will be there on arrival before 9 pm .. We arrived...

“Property was very clean and had everything that we needed. It did have two bedrooms which would be OK if you had two adults and two small kids. Not enough room for 4 adults, but it was perfect for my husband and myself. Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the lady working in reception who was wonderful and very understanding when we accidentally booked the wrong date for checking out. The location was great in Seaview, walking distance to the sea with some lovely eating places...

“Thatch Cottage was so much better than we expected! We had planned to visit places/eat out but decided to spend all the time at the house. The pool was wonderful, as was the hot tub. We played pool, badminton, watched footy in the pub - it truly was a magical long weekend and the sun shone! Timo was on call whenever we needed him. I have read a review that suggests new bed linen and I would agree with that, however it wouldn’t stop me booking again. We brought our German shepherd dog with us and...

“The property was very nice and is in a nice rural location but the toilet is not fit for purpose as stated on an older review. I am 6ft 3 and could not sit on the toilet facing forward due to the wall in front being too close. It was approximately a foot away from the wall when it should be double that.”

“I was very excited to stay here. The property is picturesque and in a small, charming village, but we had some challenges. First, the pros: good amount of space; prime location for photographs and feels special staying in the place where so many tourists are taking pictures; friendly neighbors; stylish decor; proximity to Bath is convenient; the host responds to messages. Now, the cons(for my family): driving on the one lane street with two way traffic into the village(not host’s fault) and...
