When we received our welcome email from the property manager we learned that the free parking was only for stays of a week or longer. The parking lot is a 10-minute walk uphill from the flat, costs £11/day. The flat is cute although small, but very quiet with a comfortable bed and well equipped galley kitchen. “Fabulous accommodation in a lovely setting on a very quiet and well-maintained farm. Very spacious for 2 people, spotlessly clean and comfortable bed. Great to have chickens and goats right in front of the property. Shirley was the perfect host, very friendly and helpful, and we loved the welcome gifts. Very dog-friendly with easy walking along a bridleway and the added bonus of a secure field to loose dogs in too. Would definitely recommend this property.”

“We had a lovely New year's stay in this cottage, going for coastal walks and getting cosy by the fire when we came back. The cottage is really comfortable, we loved the heated bathroom floors and the well equipped kitchen. We also enjoyed playing a bit of darts and table tennis in the games room. The hosts were so helpful when there was a slight issue when we arrived.. it was really quickly sorted. Highly recommend!”

“A fabulous cottage for our purposes. It was surprisingly spacious and more than comfortable for the 6 of us (4 adults, 2 kids). It has a very pretty little backyard where we sat and enjoyed some early evening sunshine. Would definitely stay again.”

“Second time we have stayed at this lovely, clean, spacious property. Ideal location so close to Sandsend beach and had a lovely meal at The Stables, just down the road. Cannot fault a thing apart from the Wi-fi signal - at times there was no signal and had to search for areas in the house where we could pick one up (sometimes at the top of the garden) Just to note this wasn’t a problem last year when we stayed.
