“Overall, I had a pleasant stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and the welcome gift was a thoughtful touch. The location was also great, with the town centre within walking distance, making it easy to get around. The only issue was with the parking information. The listing stated that parking was available, but I later found out that it is only provided for guests staying 7 nights or more. This restriction was not mentioned in the listing, so it would be helpful if this could be clarified...

“My family and I had a lovely stay. The pool was naturally the highlight especially for our 12 year old who never wanted to get out. It was so much bigger than we expected. The Cottage itself was nice and cool all week despite the heat wave and clean and comfortable throughout. The nearby walks were all breathtaking with some amazing views on top of Thorpe Cloud. We are definitely going to book again.”

“A lovely peaceful location, clean and reasonably well equipped. Lots of attractions within easy reach, Given the lack of broadband (or mobile data signal) some up to date info would have been appreciated (nearest supermarket, more recent leaflets, appliance instructions etc). Unfortunately we had problems with the hot water which was lukewarm at best and ran out after only 1 shower.”

“Beautifull cottage with everything you need. Very friendly host, does everything to make you feel welcome and to make you relax. The garden is also very nice and private. Only point of improvement is the WiFi, this was not always functioning as it should (slow or not really working at all). ”

“on arrival, the property stunk and had bad odour of mice or rats but we did not see any, we found nail clipping on the floor and looked not well cleaned. On the first evening, people arrived at the property and showed us that they also booked the same property and questioned our booking, was awkward and embarcing to my wife and kids. Day 3 while we sat eating we found mice running in the middle of the reception. we left the next morning, one day early. Total miss selling.”

“A beautiful luxury home in the middle of nature. What a joy to stay there. The hosts were very kind and helpful. You can also use the huge garden around the property of the owners which is a treat. If you stay here, you are surrounded by peace and quiet and the sound of birds. Lovely!”

“We stayed in room 1B in the Vernon Place Courtyard. Was a really convenient location right in the town centre, so all the shops and amenities that location offers. Excellent communication from our host and plenty of easy free overnight parking nearby in the council car parks (free after 8pm till 8am or 10am on Sundays at time of review) . It seems obvious in hindsight but only feedback is the images on Hotel.com and other sites are a mixture of all the different rooms they manage in that...
