“For our first visit to the Natural Bridge State Park area, we chose to stay at a Vrbo property nearby in the Lexington , VA area. The Rustic Bayberry property nailed it on every category. We had great communications from the property owner & truly enjoyed our time there. Due to 100 feel like temps on the July 4th weekend, we found ourselves at the property most afternoons relaxing as the property’s cooling system was a welcomed item during the heat. I understand it’s in the middle of the woods but the amount of living and dead stink bugs was astonishing!! Not sure if pest control could help that out since one fell on me on the couch oh and...

14. Bluebird Cottage: Near 151 + Appalachian Trail

“We loved this location. Easy access to Wintergreen, or breweries and wineries along 151. The property is private and quiet, with a great piece of the Rockfish River flowing through. The house itself is so charming - we loved the modern yet rustic feel and the bed was so comfortable (the King size was a nice surprise since the listing said Queen)! We hope to be back soon when we're able to stay longer.”
