Enjoy the comforts of a private suite in an occupied home with separate entrance and side yard. House is located in South Anchorage with views of the Chugach Mountains and Turnagain Arm. A 15-minute drive from the airport and immediate access to the Seward Highway to take you south to Girdwood or north to Denali, wherever your travel adventures take you. One bedroom with Ÿ bath and a half kitchen with an induction countertop electric burner. Fresh Alaskan coffee in K-cup or beans to grind to suit your taste. Kitchen area has all the amenities if you'd like to make a home-cooked meal. This suite is also the perfect set-up if you're just needing an overnight stay.     Unfortunately, we only had one night at Alison’s. Her home is beautiful, comfortable and well-appointed. She is a gracious and accommodating hostess. Location is far enough away from Anchorage proper and very close to the scenic coastal drive and points south. Thank you again for sharing your beautiful home.

    Alison is crazy! She could easily get double her price for such a sparkling, spacious, and comfortable place!! She was kind, quick to respond, and available for questions. She had local chocolates, fresh coffee beans, tons of extras........I feel guilty that we ripped her off!!

    Great stay!

    Such a great place to stay and not far from whatever you need in Anchorage. Alison was a great host and made sure everything in the house was top notch! The bed was one of the most comfortable night’s sleep we have ever had way from home! The recliners are nice and relaxing as well! For a couple’s stay, I highly recommended it.

    This place was excellent. We were greeted by Alison & Humphrey(dog). Walked inside & immediately felt at home. Lot’s of thoughtful extra items in all rooms - comfy recliners, throws, reading material, extra towels, lotion, fresher spray, coffee, foods, snacks, chocolates, extra comfy bed, beautiful linens, outdoor sitting area, etc. Location was perfect, quiet and easy access to everything. Definitely a great place & great host.

    Wonderful, comfortable and well equipped suite away from crowded downtown but close to restaurants and shops. A very friendly and helpful host was available but suite was very private. Also appreciated the nice little touches in the suite.

    Best place in Anchorage

    This is a perfect place to stay no matter if it’s one night or a couple weeks. Easy to get to and has all the extras you could want. The owner is so friendly and accommodating. We try to stay here whenever we fly into Anchorage.

    Stayed for 3 days and the place is easy to get to, easy check in and out process and very comfy inside. It has everything you need and is clean and well equipped. The host is great at communicating! I would gladly stay again.
